We just sold ourselves to the Oyinbo's. Demn! How can Oyinbo appreciate our God given gift when some tribal slowpoke can't even thank God for a gift like Okonjo Iweala. Can we now see how stewpid that yoruba bastards who called for the revoking for that award is? Even more stewpid are those people with those 5000 signatures in support of the move.
Yale is an academic environment not some White house doll. Some Nigerians are just best described as empty hollow heads. I am ashamed to be called a Nigerian along with that bastard and his 5000 supporters who signed for his useless revocation.

mumu. according to Yale, Stephan Schmidheiny, who was found guilty in 2012 of creating an asbestos environmental disaster which caused about 2,000 deaths in Italy didn't get his award revoked so, maybe Yale really didn't care abt humanity.

but on a nicer mood, if you think Yorubas lost, then I will say at least, e no reach that kind failure wey Biafra found itself in.

I am surprised that write up is above your comprehension. read again before you post that kind of comment. That part that talked about Stephen wasn't a statement of Yale but a reference from the source. I know you can do better so help yourself before you fail your future exams.

With the example given of similar controversial award in 2014,it has given out Yale University of having a track record of awarding her honorary Doctorate degree to people of questionable character which shouldn't be associated with institution of Yale status! Nevertheless the protest has been registered and the message well passed,it behooves on Yale to search their conscience.

Yoruba lost? The Thai Policeman who said the Igbos are a disgrace to the Black Race was quite right.

Bunch of Buffon's like you are the reason why your tribe are called a disgrace.

Guess it is the Yoruba's alone that are feeling the pinch of her economic mismanagement in Nigeria.

Which holes does cretins like you come out from?

Don't divert from the thread. Make objective criticism. I believe you can do better than this.

Yoruba did not loose.

Yale never said they disagree with the arguments postulated in the petition letter....they only said they have a tradition they are unwilling to break, however strong the case presented in the petition.

In other words, they are sticking with policy, even when it is faulted on principles.

Get it right!
I beg tell them make them hear ooo.so many ignorant people looking forward to vent unreasonable and senseless anger on realistic issues.. Without unity these leaders will continue to mess up, may God inteven. Habaa

The honorary degree has been handsomely paid for so revoking it will amount to a breach of contrary that will lead, and Yale might dearly for it.

You really think Yale, a 100+ year old IVY LEAGUE UNIVERSITY, is some backyard Nigerian university were degrees are bought?

Why Yoruba lost as some are postulating here? Don't be surprised if they release the names of people who make up the more than 5000 that signed the petition the non Yorubas might be more than 80%. I signed it and am not a Yoruba. I guess the east and south are shielded from the current state of the economy because Okonjo and GEJ are from these areas.

The level of opposition OBJ got from the west and their media can never be replicated by any other region. Prove me wrong.
It is still APPLICABLE to the Resounding OPPOSTION and INSULTS, T. A. ORJI got from the EASTERN REGION, including his kinsmen and drivers.

[s]We are glad Yale took the position because it is now registered to the world and the awareness that Okonjo-Iweala is an incompetent and over rated technocrat is spread globally.

She has been projected, successfully and rightly so, as a liability...and not an asset to the national and regional economy.

This raises the risk and makes her unappealing for hire by any international body working for the upliftment of human society on a global scale[/s].
