I begin to ponder and ask myself "what was her crime".

With all the propagandas flying during the electioneering process, never was any accusation of financial embezzlement or recklessness levied against her.

Even the eagle-eyed media and social media crew never had any corrupt case against her except the state of the economy which in reality has many players and influencers that are more powerful than NOI.

I laugh when I see under-aged dullards who didn't even pass Economics in WASSC turn economic experts to insult this woman on Nairaland.

I can't agree less with you. Politics has bedeviled and beclouded their sense of reasoning.

Imagine if we've left Mr President deregulate/remove subsidy from oil sector in 2012, WE WON'T BE IN THIS MESS OF "FUEL SCARCITY" TODAY.
but, every PROGRESS have been politicised.
Wait a minute, are you saying Nigerians should suffer for the inability of the government to fight corruption in thee oil sector?

Tell me one good reason why subsidy should be removed?

I wish we could dispassionatey hold all our leaders accountable irrespective of their political party or public profession -the National Assembly and all tiers of government. We keep focusing on one arm and level of government. When it comes to self-enrichment, our politicians forget their party differences. Even States and Local Governments ought to give account.

I seem not 2 get some point. If this moneys are from the excess crude acct. Why can't some of it be used for the payment of subsidy. And during yaradua and obj's era. How did dey manage 2 cope with d subsidy ish.

.....or even build new Refineries so that we dont have to import fuel at all, hence nothing like subsidy?

SUBSIDY REMOVAL or nor, is a SCAM!

WHY NOT USE THE EXCESS MONEY TO BUILD REFINERIES?

YOU COULD HAVE INVESTED SAME IN NLNG OR BUILD STORAGE TANKS FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS!

WHY SHARE INSTEAD OF RE-INVESTING?

POSTERITY WILL NEVER FORGET THIS EVIL!

We cannot have a political federalism & no fiscal federalism. The sharing of federal allocations should be minimised or outrighly stopped & let these lazy governors be forced to roll their sleeves, crack their brains & get down low with dirts & work to earn money from their respective states & spend on themselves.

If only the 8th assembly can pass d FOI bill...Nigerians deserves to know how much their state govt get as federal allocation monthly and how its spent, including contractors who execute govt contracts and how much is paid in phases.

Accountability is what we need to move dis country forward

Bro,
FOI bill has been passed buy the 7th assembly and signed into law by GEJ, just that nigerians dont ask questions and ask for the info, maybe due to fear of unknown. If any one want to know about governance of local, state and fed, the law is there to back you up.
