Roaccutane is sold at medplus or health plus pharmacies, i used it back in 2013 cost me 15k for 30 tablets, you hav to use it continuosly for close to six month to see a real diff. I had to stop cos the adverse effects the drug was having on my body internally, the medcine is too strong, it cosed chapped and dried out lips, also you cant take alcohol while on the medication, as well you hav to mosturize your skin well because it causes dried out skin as well and you hav to be careful of direct sunlight on your skin. Wiyh my vast research i can categorically state that therr is not a permanent cure for acne/pimples it can only be managed but for you to hav a clear and spotless skin back, unless its goes by it self.

People would always prescribe diff otc medications but none works, also they would tell you to eat well, fruits and vegetables, dont take sugar, milk and oily food all na scam, i hav done all those stuffs, fasted for weeks just taking water and fruits alone, my acne still cam.

Which brings me to the conclusion, there is no cure, anyone on nairaland or anywhere in nigeria that can proove he or she has a cure shld contact me with before and after pictures, i dont mind the cost i would pay for this trauma to end plssssss

Pimples is the least health problem that should linger. Just get a qualified doctor, he will evaluate you and treat you or refer you to a dermatologist for specialist care if you are among the very few that have severe cystic and nodular acne.

But olamide the rap artist used to battle with acne as well, i wonder how he cleared his face sha

Thanks for you help, but i am based in lagos so i wud travel all the way down to uch or ilorin just to book an appointment with a dermatologist which am not sure i would see in a week also if i eventually see him i would still hav to go back to subsequent treatments oo from lagos all the time, which am very sure those dermatologist you said are almost never on duty because they would also be doing their consultation parols and making there own money, so actually its a no brainer, doesnt work for me. alright bro I would not have suggested supplements if they did not work for me these were the products I used..propolis creme,aloe gelly,berry nectar, garlic-thyme and aloe liquid soap. You can do your research on them..stay blessed.

It's a very strong drug that affects internal organs. abroad, you are monitored closely if on roaccutane, we don't have such facility here in Naija.

From experience i'lI advise you do retin A gel. It's a topical and milder version of roaccutane however not for pregnant women o. You can get it at health plus or any good pharmacy. When on it, do not use any harsh soap or cream on your face. You can use Dove bar and any sunscreen. Note a sunscreen is a must if using retin A and avoid the sun as best as you can.

My opinion..

The main source of your pimples is from too much consumption of vegetable oil and oily food, and if you can't minimize it now, those acne/pimples will keep coming. There are other alternatives, why not try cooking or frying with red oil sometimes at most 75% over vegetable oil.
Try to use medicated soaps like dettol, septol, Premier cool, tura etc... And get an acne lotion like neomedrol or neutrogena before using this get a cleanser that contains papaya extract to cleanse your face before applying the lotion.
Don't forget, do a blood test it is very important..
And lastly, you can buy liquid blood purifiers at any pharmaceutical store to cleanse your blood. eg fidson bitters with ginseng, Adams bitters, or the popular one fijk flusher and if possible splina (an Edmark product).
They all work excellently....
