Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by Kitsune: 1:06pm On May 25, 2015 |
So it seems some people on this forum just cant let this issue go even though theyre absolutely peddling a made up story. So lets debunk this nonsense once and for all. http://www.gettyimages.com/search/more-like-this/474453606?assetType=image Attached are pics from the person who took them, and he also wrote captions before uploading them. And here a quote from someone who saw the moment on TV (It wasnt super publicized because it's not an Official visit) pendy79: SO why is this made up story about him standing for 30 mins started by a PDP apolgist still being given credibility so much that the PDP spokesman has the audacity to 'berate' Buhari over this ? 5 Likes 7 Shares

Responding to PDP will amount to giving them relevance. Those bunch of criminals running out of the country as May 29th approaches will be forcefully brought back to the country in crate, 70s style to answer for their crime. 3 Likes |

I want to believe it's just a mere coincidence, and overblown by PDP....I watched it live on channels on Saturday but what I really don't like in the event was hw Cameron left Buhari outside after seeing him off the door to wait for his aides all alone. Cameron shd have waited and ensured GMB entered his car before he left. But not as bad as being painted.....the interval wasn't up to 10secs before his aides joined him outside. |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by theV0ice: 1:47pm On May 25, 2015 |
i actually refused to post on those silly threads. Only an 1diot will believe that Cameron agreed to open the doors of 10 Downing street to an uninvited or unexpected guest and the British broadcaster, Sky News will also broadcast the event. Imagine an 'educated' Metuh saying GMB waited for 30 mins outside (which the notable broadcasters in the world failed to report) and 'intelligent' homo sapiens believed it? Common sense is indeed not too common 6 Likes |

deen11: bro, there are protocols. GMB isn't president yet. He was there in a personal capacity so that wasn't unusual at all. Was Cameron expected to chaperone Buhari's aides? You can see GMB even avoided the limelight by refusing the Nigerian High commision from turning it into an illegal 'official' event with their razzamatazz It even shows how highly esteemed he is by the British govt for Cameron to open the doors of govt to him at such short notice without going through all the diplomatic brouhaha. @the bold, TANoids would have us believe he was there for 30mins. They obviously don't know how fast Photo Journalists click their cameras. Maybe they assumed GMB was posing for a photo shoot there 1 Like 1 Share |

Since some amateurs still cant let this go let's revive this thread. This reminds me of a post i made sometime ago on a different issue (another stupid PDP apologist attempt to whine about Buhari over something he didnt even do) Kitsune: |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by GreatEngineer(m): 10:45am On May 26, 2015 |
No he wasn't embarrassed! I was the one that was embarrassed in London. May be he was standing there counting the numbers of block use in building David Cameron's house. Don't know why it is very difficult to acknowledge the truth. Mind you I don't have anything against him, am in support of his presidency but let the truth be. |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by theV0ice: 11:21am On May 26, 2015 |
GreatEngineer: We know you're in support of his presidency but we wonder what truth you wish be known? that he was kept stranded at the doors of 10 Downing street for 30mins? or isn't that the 'truth' that has been flying round for some days now? Or is there another 'truth' you wish us to know? |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by GreatEngineer(m): 12:07pm On May 26, 2015 |
theV0ice: Just acknowledge that the arrangement for the visit wasn't properly managed by his aides, how can a president elect be standing in front of someone house like that, does it means there was no pre-information or what? Am not talking about 30mins or 5mins stuff you are mentioning, but the site of him standing there like a stranger is what am against. Because am in support of him doesn't mean I should be blind of anything I see around him that is not ok. |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by theV0ice: 12:32pm On May 26, 2015 |
GreatEngineer: It's obvious you know nothing about the whole issue if you still say that picture was him standing and waiting for admittance into David Cameron's presence. That particular picture WASN'T HIM WAITING FOR THE DOOR TO BE OPENED!!! See the Picture and the attached comment explaining what happened there ''Nigeria's President-elect Muhammadu Buhari stands in Downing street following a meeting with Britain's prime minister David Cameron in central London on May 23 2015''. AFP PHOTO/LEON NEAL http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/nigerias-president-elect-muhammadu-buhari-stands-in-downing-news-photo/474453606 HE HAD FINISHED THE MEETING AND HAD JUST COME OUT!! I'm sure you know ''following'' is the same thing as ''after''? If you wish to get better informed, check this link out for more pics. The photo Journalist who took them made notes on each of the photos to tell you what was happening. http://www.gettyimages.com/search/more-like-this/474453606?assetType=image Even in your support, explore all the angles before jumping to childish and pedestrian conclusions |

deen11: Yeah, Cameron left too early but that's not Buhari's making and couldn't have been termed an embarrassment by any stretch of the imagination. PDP have proved not to know how to concentrate their efforts on real issue. They prefer dwelling on pity stuffs as this one. Thank God we kicked their azz out! |

Cluelessness runs in the blood of saTANiods. The British Prime Minister's residence, 10 Downing Street, London, is not like Aso Rock that is fenced. Whoever that visits will knock before it is openned. It is not that a visitor just opens it and enter. 1 Like |
Re: Buhari Was Not 'embarassed' In London. by dustmalik(m): 1:46pm On May 26, 2015 |
PassingShot:Actually, Cameron didn't go back early or anything of such. There is what is called photo op (Photo opportunity), that's what Buhari and Cameron were doing out there, and Buhari's aides couldn't have been present during their photo op. The protocol is simple; Cameron and Buhari were supposed to do photo op, after which, Cameron was to go back inside, before Buhari's aides come out and meet him. Now, the little waiting time between Cameron going back inside and Buhari's aides coming out, is what the unintelligent Tanoids are exploiting. Mind you, the waiting time could have been less than a minute, for all we know. The point is, pictures do not tell the whole story. 2 Likes |
