What is wrong with students.......they will not protest for increase in school fees.....but they will protest for scarcity of fuel that has little to contribute to their learning.....because as much as I knw we don't learn with electricity......what is wrong with NIGERIAN STUDENTS

My instinct told me this will make FP.. I was just waiting for the right reporter to bring it up..

My dear @ OP, it wasn't funny at all.. Students, workers, hawkers etc were locked outside (both gates).. I felt so sorry for those who took lectures in the Choba campus, though I heard they was a protest yesterday.. Fine babes and bobos lurking around the gate, walking aimlessly.

Even up till now, that gate(s) is/are still locked. Most boys resorted to scaling the fence grin

There is oo cheesy.. From what the past SUG president told me, he said that lights went off yesterday before the due time, and boiz weren't smiling grin, coupled with no PMS to run water for them (those in the hostel).. The protest started from the night till the early hours of the morning.

Even those who come from Delta park were made to trek down, due to lack of buses cry cry cry

My Alma mater. Unique Uniport. Remembered my days in aminu Kano block A choba campus. The government should do something about this fuel scarcity ASAP.

Maybe they should just take the lockdown from the school to the streets; enough is enough! Even the authorities are not even flexing a muscle, like they don`t care. Just imagine that from Choba junction to school gate(AP) is now #100 instead of maybe #30/#50; Choba to Rumuokoro is now #250 instead of #100. Wahala dey oo... Who is even gaining in/from all this mess?

Increase in fuel does not affect learning? What about high cost of transportation, feeding and other expenditure. Also inadequate means of transport.
