Soldiers Take Over Capital Oil, Load Drums With Fuel by GOATandYAMtheory: 6:46am On May 26, 2015 |
Officials of the Nigerian Army on Monday took over the Ojodu Berger outlet of Capital Oil, buying petroleum products in drums, after scaring away thousands of consumers. The armed personnel came in the guise of maintaining peace and order, but they soon abandoned their primary responsibility for fuel racket. They shoved, maltreated and sent away those who were on queue to be attended to, thereby gaining access to have their drums loaded with fuel. As of press time, the unregistered white Isuzu truck they use for the ‘deal’ had visited the filling station for the fourth time. The fourth truck was being loaded as of 8:50pm. The vehicle, on each visit, left with at least 14 drums and dozens of gallons filled with fuel. The helpless consumers, some of who slept at the filling station, suspected the soldiers were feeding the growing Lagos black market with the product. The military officials who were fully dressed had taken over the only two pumps that dispensed the Premium Motor Spirit. Those who protested the act were beaten and given scares on their bodies. Meanwhile, consumers, who had spent the entire Monday at the filling station without getting the product to buy, had described the announcement by Ifeanyi Uba as a publicity stunt. By 9pm on Monday, not more than a hundred cars left the station with fuel. Besides the military, officials of the Nigeria Police Force and black market dealers took over the show while thousands of motorists who had crowded the place since 5am were abandoned. http://www.punchng.com/news/soldiers-take-over-capital-oil-load-drums-with-fuel/ 3 Likes 1 Share |

Those in charge of Ifeanyi Uba's petrol station should be blamed. They cannot co-ordinate the sale of fuel accordingly and they prefer to sell to black marketers at higher price. Ifeanyi Uba has done his best and he should be commended anyway. 75 Likes 6 Shares |

You can't blame them since the government cannot provide for Them so they have to use their own power to get it, after all use what you have to get what you want am still expecting the police to do the same thing |

Imagine the kind of country Jonathan is handing over. He's so bitter about his rejection at the polls and is doing everything imaginable to punish Nigerians for the wise choice they made. Now, look at this man and tell me you really think deep down United Nation would tinker with an idea of making him a special envoy to whatever.... I told people all those talks about giving him an appointment by a world body were just gimmicks to placate the fella knowing fully well how intolerant of defeat some African leaders could be. The imagined without such innuendoes, the dude could simply turn around a say he rejects the outcome of the polls, throwing yet another country in the world into a state of complete chaos and humanitarian disaster. Shame on Jonathan. Shame on PDP. 54 Likes |

Ifeanyi Uba, playing to the gallery, out of the close to 13 pumps, only 2 pumps are dispensing. 13million liters my foot! Meanwhile, consumers, who had spent the entire Monday at the filling station without getting the product to buy, had described the announcement by Ifeanyi Uba as a publicity stunt. If you live in Lagos, you will understand his public announcement is pure 419, just like when Orji Uzor Kalu donated cartons filled with cut out papers as money in Maiduguri in the 80's 16 Likes 2 Shares |

So you are telling me with all the people there nobody could take picture of the officers in question and post to shame them? Indiscipline in the army and police seriously needs to be tackled and Jonathan did nothing about it on a grassroot level, his government even encouraged the impunity. 3 Likes |

QuotaSystem:you're the biggest fool to ever walk the surface of the earth. How is it a publicity stunt? Banks have resumed operations, PHCN has restored power and network services are back to normal thanks to capital oil and you Dummo still running his mouth. Petrol now sells for #100 in the east and #87 in Lagos outlets owned by capital oil. You are a terrible fool!!! Instead of you to praise what seem to be the only patriotic African in nigeria, you're here talking nonsense 65 Likes 5 Shares |
