Unique customized Mercurial Vapor X was presented to Eden Hazard ahead of our final game against Sunderland. Drawing inspiration from Hazard's trademark ability to electrify the game with pace, flair and trickery, the Nike Football design team created a white Mercurial Vapor X that illuminates through streaks of royal blue lightning bolts. On the medial side of each boot's upper the lightening bolts spell “Hazard”. The additional detailing makes this Mercurial Vapor X a boot that encapsulates Hazard's personal story, style of play and accomplishments. “Rien ne me touche” runs around the top of the crest. Translated as “Nothing can touch me”, the motto epitomizes Hazard's confidence, adventure and attacking enterprise that have lit up the Barclays Premier League this season. Only one pair of these customized Mercurial Vapor X's have been made, presented to Hazard last weekend, so don't bother searching for the gear in the market 1 Like |

Jose Mourinho said it best. Asked earlier this month to sum up the scale of John Terry’s contribution to Chelsea’s first Premier League title triumph in five years, the Portuguese’s response was candid and concise.
"I think he knows that, without me, he probably wouldn't be at Chelsea in this moment," Mourinho insisted, adding: "But I also know that, probably without him, I would not be again Premier League champion."
True appreciation of Terry’s remarkable resurgence has been slow to gain consensus, not least because it is understandably difficult to garner wider praise for anything he does. The toxic legacy of the Anton Ferdinand racism row will forever linger in the public consciousness, yet it is telling that Anton's brother Rio retains the ability to separate the footballer from the man.
“Just because we no longer get on does not mean I’ve lost my admiration for him as a footballer,” Ferdinand wrote in his column for The Sun. “His performances for Chelsea this season have been nothing short of outstanding and I’m not afraid to say it.”
Others are following suit, prompted in no small part by the realisation borne out of a barbed retort from Terry towards Rafa Benitez amid the final whistle euphoria of victory over Crystal Palace.
Benitez had concluded in late 2012 that Chelsea’s captain was no longer physically capable of playing two matches in a week. Terry has quashed that assessment in emphatic fashion, making 47 appearances in Mourinho’s first season back at Stamford Bridge and this term becoming only the second outfielder to play every minute for a Premier League title-winning team. Gary Pallister achieved the same feat over a 42-game format in 1992-93, but he was seven years Terry’s junior at the time.
As much as he might not appreciate the constant reminders, Terry’s age is crucial to fully understanding his accomplishments over the last two years. For even a great Premier League centre-back to remain this dominant and durable at 34 is virtually unheard of.
Ferdinand won his final Manchester United title at the same age in 2012-13, but made just 26 starts as he managed chronic back problems. Jamie Carragher and Sol Campbell spent even less time on the pitch as they wound down their careers at Liverpool and Arsenal respectively, while Pallister was taking names in rather less grand surroundings at Middlesbrough. The battered body of Nemanja Vidic, still only 33, has long since fallen from the elite pedestal.
Of the greats, just Steve Bruce and Tony Adams won Premier League titles at a more advanced age than Terry, and only Bruce regularly started as United reeled in Newcastle in 1995-96. Itis astonishing that Chelsea’s captain has maintained his defensive level while the game around him has quickened year-on-year, and he has also scored more Premier League goals (38) than any of his rivals.
The key to Terry’s enduring success is his dedication to the fundamentals. Marcel Desailly, the World Cup winner who acted as mentor from Terry's senior Chelsea debut in 1998 to the passing of the armband in 2004, recalls a confident but inquisitive young charge who subjected him to a barrage of questions on tactics and positioning.
“We knew that in the leadership aspect he was going to be a great player, and you’ve seen it - he’s a real leader for his team,” the Frenchman told Goal. “But as a player I was not expecting him to do so well for so long. He’s 34, he’s still performing well.
“He’s tactically very clever, he can anticipate to block the opponent, not giving them space, winning the psychological battle - he’s very strong in that aspect.
“Physically he’s a heavyweight, he’s having problems with his back, and he’s probably changed his lifestyle - diet, sleeping. He’s been very strict with it and that’s why he’s still one of the best defenders in the Premier League.”
Carragher, a contemporary and Liverpool legend in his own right, goes even further. “There have been a lot of great centre-backs in Premier League history, but I think he has been the best that we’ve seen,” he told Sky Sports last month. “For the next 20 or 30 years, that position at the near post, when we see other defenders doing it, we’ll call it ‘the John Terry position’.
“We’re not just talking about a big aggressive centre-back. Terry is always in the right position. His understanding of where to be, his reading of the game and reading crosses cannot be matched. I don’t think we’ve ever seen anyone better.”
Flush from holding the Premier League trophy aloft once more on Sunday, Terry did not speak of himself in such glowing terms. “I’ve had a good season, but without those guys around me - the youth, [Nemanja] Matic sitting in front, letting me do what I do best, I wouldn’t be playing week-in and week-out."
It is certainly true that circumstances have fallen in Terry’s favour. Mourinho’s return with a deep defensive line has mitigated his captain’s lack of pace and Matic’s arrival and development into a destructive monster has been a crucial. Gary Cahill’s footspeed makes him a superb partner and whether it is Thibaut Courtois or Petr Cech, Chelsea’s last line of defence is always world-class.
But the reverse is also true. Terry’s leadership and organisational qualities have made it immeasurably easier for Matic and Courtois to hit the ground running in the Premier League. His guidance has helped Cahill become an England regular and, given time, he may do for Kurt Zouma what Desailly did for him.
Few Premier League defenders have been so influential and none for so many years. Terry’s sheer quality long ago earned him a place among the greats; as he shines well into his 30s, his longevity is putting him in a class of his own. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Who read Van gaal 's speech where he jibed chelsea, well this is Mourinho reply to the all..
' I don't think my players got the respect that they deserve after what they did from day one till the last day. And these are words that I really feel, serious words," he said. "This is a football pitch with two goals, one ball, but there is one team [in a plain red shirt] that would like to play without goals. That team plays really well and the ball goes and goes and goes and the quality of the ball possession is really beautiful, but no goals. And they ask the international board of FIFA to play like this, but they were told that it was not possible, that the bigger percentage of ball possession doesn't win matches and they were not champions. "After that there was another team [wearing sky blue shirts] that were less radical and they asked to play only with one goal. They were fantastic and they scored a lot of goals and the goals were coming from every position and they score and they score and they score, but they never conceded goals, because no goal. Again, the international board told them 'I'm sorry, you can't be champions because football is with two goals'. "The third team [red shirts, white sleeves] was almost there, because they wanted to play with two goals. They were scoring some, they were also conceding some. They were fantastic. They scored really beautiful goals, they concede some goals too and they were almost there. But they asked the international board to play only between January and April. And they told 'no chance, no chance'. You have to play between August and May, so they couldn't be champions. "Finally come another team [blue shirts]. They wanted to play with the normal rules and they know that to win matches they had to score one more goal than the opponent. How can you do this? By scoring a lot of goals or not conceding and scoring one. And they did it both ways. Scoring a lot, conceding some. Scoring one goal and conceding no goals. That was the option and lots of goals were conceding, they played from August till May and sometimes they brought the bus. "The end of the story is just simple. We have to start believing that they learned the lesson and next season will be much, much more difficult for us. We have to be ready for that."
