Please am new here,i gained admission to study BSC nursing,Keyano college.I wanted to pay my tuition fee,but the school refused, they said they don't collect tuition fees from international students without a study permit. My question is; if I don't pay my tuition fee, will it affect my eligibility to obtain my TRV?

While we wait, does anyone have a video recipe for correct coconut rice? Some of the ones I've seen don't look that good. I want to try to make it for the first time.

Sorry, I might use this thread to ask for other things when its not too busy. This is the only thread that seems to have correct people.

Try www.dooneyskitchen.com
She's got great step by step recipes with pictures to go.. Just search coconut rice, 9jafoodie.com is also good. www.allnigerianrecipes.com has youtube videos also

Oga siga pls help me out am about to re-apply, I wass denied last year and I don't want such to happen again this time around. I was denied through to the following reasons last year 1, your travel history 2, length of proposed stay in Canada 3, your current employment situation 4, purpose of visit 5, your personal assets and financial status. So bro what do u think I should do. I am still on my bsc programme but my brother wants me to neglect it and come over to Canada to study.. the problem is that 1, have not travled before 2, the course is just for 18 months 3, I don't have any employment situation and I don't understand the personal assets and financial status. Oga siga pls what can u do to plss put me through... God bless u bro pls waiting for ur response...

I don't think you need to pay your school fees. I think you just need to pay the retainer, which usually is just a couple hundred dollars. Someone else might have a better idea of this.

Jevenik's only aim in this life is to scatter people's brains and overfeed them like no tmrw.

Thanks, that looks like a good site. I'll scroll through and try some of them. I wish she had videos though. I suck in the kitchen, I try just to impress my lady from time to time.

If any of you ladies come here and open a proper naija restaurant, you'll make so much money. All the ones here are run by people that have no idea what hospitality is, so if you're not naija, you will be scared to even enter the place.

I took my girl to one (she eats naija food) and she couldn't understand why the madam looked pissed the whole time, loud tv, waiter don't check on you.(she enjoyed the naija restaurants when we came to naija) if anybody is a proper cook, I'll fund it oh...easy money to be made!. People in toronto love trying food from other places in the world. Jamican, greek, chinese, korean, indian, afghan...basically all ethnic food do well here.

Hello my good people.

I know y'all are doing OK. But I have just 2 questions. Do I need to provide passport photo when using paper route? 2. Is it necessary I add the Schedule 1 form? Cos I know in online route it is not compulsory. Thanks house cos I knw someone is already answering me even before I finish typing this.
You will need to submit just 2passports which I will advice you snap inside the VHS office. 8copies is #1200 inside as against #3000 outside.

4 copies at #250-#400 at a passport shop depending on the location.

When you get there, tell them the size 35*45mm or so (not quite sure) on a white background, and bargain a good price... When is time for snapping, tell them is for visa application... That way, you'll be safer.

Mentioning via application from the onset only leads to incurring charges at the end of the day.

It doesn't change the quality either

You have a functional embassy here in Naija that handles visa applications, why jump them to address the application to a visa officer in Ghana.

Little things like these matter... Don't take anything for granted, thereby giving them a silly reason to delay your TRV application cos some VOs can be so meticulous and funny.

Good luck

I don't mean at VFS, why should I wait to take my passport at VFS when I can get the same (or even better) quality of passport inside town or other places at a very affordable rate.

Don't worry bro, you'll soon come over to Canada and understand the real term "Cost cutting measures", a situation in which every penny matters/counts... Cos the country is quite expensive esp ON province... Not to panic though, men will always survive grin
