My sentiment exactly. I'm yet to see a thread that will boost human development in Akwa Ibom state. Good governance goes beyond beautification of capital city and hotels. The hotel looks good but to me I consider it misplaced priority just like the stadium.

The Governor of Akwa Ibom state should pursue empowerment programs, boost human development through grants and scholarships, support SMEs in the state and create environment that is attractive to business. Human development is key to societal growth rather than frivolties like hotels, stadium, and stuffs.

I am not from Akwa ibom, but u don't know how I feel when I walk tru doz batchas in ph and see majority of dem der, how I see majority of dem being used as modern day slaves i.e house helps.... wen they come from d richest state in Nigeria, it doesn't add up.
