lionel4power: 1. True - but biggest doesn't mean best, or even most powerful 2. South Africa is more powerful in every conceivable means of power 3. Swiss are the happiest people on earth http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/switzerland-officially-the-happiest-country-on-earth--with-britain-lagging-in-21st-place-10221591.html 4. The fact that you even think that holding a successful election is a sign of maturity shows how immature you are. Anyway, South Africa has been democratic longer and has more political freedom 4a. South Africa ranks 30th in the democracy index, Nigeria ranks 121st http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index So in reality only one of the things you said was a fact 4 Likes |

patches689: South Africa and democracy shouldn't be in the same sentence, not with the ANC holding the nation to ransom. Only second to communist China and North Korea How convenient, you now quote Wikipedia as a valid source when it suits your argument. 1 Like |

xwolverine: South Africa is more democratic than Nigeria The ANC are in the position that they are in because the people consistently vote them into that position - i am not surprised that I have to explain how democracy works to a Nigerian I quoted wiki for the convenience as the page has excellent citations in this instance Do you wish me to copy past the citations from wiki? |

agaugust: If you bring Nigerian standards to this argument you will be demolished each and every time. Firstly...."50-70%" is NOT an agreement or contract. That is simply the Chinese playing you like f00ls. A firm agreement or contract will state that these specific parts will be built by these specific companies, no later than this specific time, and not costing more than this specific price. If costs are over-run or if production is late, penalties are paid. That is a firm agreement or contract. Do not dare come here with Nigerian standards..."we'll build-o 50-70% depending on what mood we're in". Secondly....every single bolt and screw on that ship is paid for by the Nigerian Navy. In that hole you called a head, you think it's wise to have the Chinese build the superstructure, the bulkhead, the communication mask, fittings. Sail it to Nigeria, then have Nigeria disassemble what they dont like, add their own bits? Listen to yourself f00l. Your small brain is confusing modularity with construction. If that ship had anyhing to do with Nigeria building 50-70% of it, its keel would have been laid in Nigeria. There is nothing more to that ship Nigeria can add to in the construction phase...simple. The Chinese lied to you...deal with it. Argument over. Oh and why are airliners pressurized? Why do you keep running away from the question like a little b.itch? |

Henry120:Dude you are fvcking lost again! It was Agaugust who said your OPVs were/will be towed to LAGOS, I posted the PIC to prove that at least one of your OPVs was difinately not being towed |

lionel4power:As I said before let's just wait 18 months then we can talk. Don't worry you don't have to wait for Biro any longer, its nearly completed. Heroin class old? Well to be honest your also the guy who said Congo is richer than Thailand. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 11:13am On May 27, 2015 |
jln115: You are completely r3tarded. Agaugust was referring to the 2nd OPV, F-92, not the first OPV delivered. It has always been clear that a significant part of the 2nd OPV would be completed in Port-Harcourt. |

patches689: The citation is factual, written a couple of years after the half-french AH entered SAAF service. The writers sources include open sourced material and testimonies from SAAF pilots and Engineers who worked on the AH. Fact, the Rooivalk is obsolete and runs on computers that are 30 years behind any AH currently in service. Evidence already known by many people around the world, only now corroborated by decent South-Africans. You can continue to live in denial, but the fact is your half-french AH is archaic, ancient and completely out of it's depth in the current battle space. |

Henry120: Are you ready to get fvcking wrecked? |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 11:25am On May 27, 2015 |
patches689: The Rooivalk only made it that far, as the Americans nor Europeans were never going to be willing, to allow both the Tiger or Apache to be built in turkey. It was a forgone conclusion. The Turks seeing how obsolete your half-french AH was rightly discarded it. |

patches689: Patrick you r3tard, post your crap!! I know i've given you so many nightmare filled sleeps........ just deal with it, your AH is a dinosaur!!! |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 11:31am On May 27, 2015 |
Henry120: Your artical is from June 2007 The Rooivalk was not yet in service and had just defeated the Apache and Tiger in the Turkish trials 4 or so months after your artical US$137 million was spent on upgrading the Rooivalk http://www.itweb.co.za/sections/business/2007/0711121430.asp?S=IT%20in%20Defence&A=DFN&O=FRGN In 2011 the Rooivalk was upgraded to Mk1 status - these upgrades include “modifications to the weapons systems, avionics and airborne systems”. http://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2011-04-04-rooivalk-the-next-generation-mark-1/#.VWZ7hvlVhBd So, as we can see, your source is based on OPINION, is OUTDATED and based on INCOMPLETE facts Now that we have rubbished your source - we will do what you have been avoiding for so long - we will speak about actual specifications of the aircraft 2 Likes |

Henry120: [citation needed] Why did they enter their helos if they were never going to let the turks buy them? Fact is simple: Rooivalk beat the Apache and Tiger in Turkish trials - bespite "30 year old tech" |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 11:45am On May 27, 2015 |
patches689: Yes, your dinosaur AH concurrently carrying out operations with an older model Hind produced in 1972!!! There is no substantial evidence that your Helicopter running on 30 years old computers performed better than the older hind. None at all. |
