The problem is that Nigerians have a bad idea of governance....which continues when they get into office at any level...the idea that the government exists to give you a free handout every day.

Which is why we seem not to have visionary leaders since independence.

The problem really is a free flow of cash from resources sold. Assuming we did not have resources, then we would be forced to work for our money...and ensure that our industries , etc are working.....because that is the only way we can earn money. But we seem to think of our leaders as our rich Big Sibling....who will provide us with unlimited goods and services...and enable us to rest forever more.

And the bad thing....nothing is going to change. After May 29....we will still be fighting over the crumbs.
