Ah! Na so e dey be oh. I was nauseous my entire first trimester without taking anytin, it was so terrible even DH come dey fear. Don't worry it will pass or beta still if its too much see a doc.

we should watch the comments we make. just because we are lucky to conceive quickly does not mean we should mock/rub in the faces of those that are TTC . there is a thin line between a genuine prayer and a prayer thats actually mocking/condescending

Good morning everyone in the house, how is the pushing ministry going? I have been having menstral like pain that goes off and on. I'm 28 weeks +, hope I'm safe?

i had similiar issue. i thought it was my uterus streching but i wasnt comfortable at all with the pain after two consecutive days so i called the hospital's 24hrs careline and i was asked to come in for checks.

i went in and i was checked thoroughly - from BP, to temperature, to urine, to swab tests (for UTI infection) and another newly invented (as i was told by the doctor) swab test that can be used to check for signs of preterm labour to blood tests. in fact, all sort of tests that i dont even know about. the results all came back fine with no issues/concerns detected.

my baby was checked too. i also had an internal examination done and doctor said all was fine.

apparently, the doctors see such pain as a sign of 'pre-term labour' and doctors here take any complain of pain very seriously.

i was later given paracetamol with some other painkiller i dont know to use to relieve the pain. the doctor wanted me to stay overnight to monitor me but i declined. anyway, i was told i could go home and i shouldnt hesitate to call/come back if the pain persisted.

i went home, stayed on 'self-imposed' bedrest for 2days, used two tabs of pcm a day for the entire 2days and the pain has stopped and i'm fine.

so just go and see your doctor to have yourself checked. at least that will give you peace of mind.

My dear I'm also teamjune. Experiencing sometin similar since yesterday/dis mrn. My tummy will b hard n baby's movement abit slow. Tinking of visiting d hosp. Today. I no wan hear story. God will c us thru.

all you are experiencing are the signs of morning sickness.

dont worry, it will pass after 12weeks, its smooth sailing

have you seen the doctor about your malaria? have you done a malaria test? please do so asap! for all you know, it might not even be malaria but part of the morning sickness drama. even if it is, im sure your doctor will be able to precribe something mild that will take care of the malaria yet with no harm to your baby.

i also had the bitter mouth, feverish condition, etc during the first few weeks. in fact, i went to purchase a thermometer because i was scared that i had caught some sort of bug. turned out to be a waste of money as my temperature was normal

Perfectly normal. Baby is just big so it has less space to move inside your stomach, that's why you can feel and see it. Btw, 36 weeks over here is considered a normal birth so you're pretty much almost ready to pop.

It's pre-term contractions and some doctors think it's normal for ftm. I didn't need painkillers, I just propped my back and legs up with pillows for 3 days. All was well.

I personally research well before taking any drug. that was why i was'nt too pleased about the painkiller i was given (i didnt have the privacy to google and read up on the drug as midwife was with me waiting for me to gulp the drugs).

that was one of the reasons i refused to stay overnight for monitoring before they stuff me with more drugs. they can also decide to introduce painkillers via IV, etc. Sometimes, doctors can 'overdo' even though they mean well

bed rest did wonders for me but as i was still feeling slight pains and i didnt want to call the hospital again (to avoid compulsory hospital admission), i took paracetamol and that helped
