Once more, i agree with the op. Being in a romantic relationship at a tender age affects intellectual capabilities. One of the main reasons nigeria is so behind is because there are not enough brilliant people that are ready to abstain from romantic commitments till they have made their mark.

Try visiting the education section, thanks!!!in all my life, the only person I loved, love, still love and think Ill forever love is the first person I had a relationship with at about 16yrs of age, now 20something and after numerous, uncountable relationships, my affection for my first Ex is still strong. Lemme stop here but what I'm tryna say is that, young relationships are sometimes the best, do the maths, esp for ppl like me who are moved by trust, solid trust! even if they are above 18, they were once under 18. Relationship has no averse effect on brilliance, like someone said, some get matured while in it. Haven't you come across 1st class graduates atrributing their success to their bfs/gfs??
