All these small boys that know close to nothing and forming like the all knowing sage.
Military Command Center is not what you term it; it's not entirely a communication room.
- different war plotting, personnel, - monitoring and maintain a strategic position - to perform day-to-day operation - not everyone knows it's existence - there' a person in charge - to maintain service and order of the field - and many other functions not restricted to the above
NMC is not where it's located, but its the effectiveness, cohesion and reaction to emergency situations
Is Nigeria under emergency or not? |

With due respect sir, it is your certificate that needs to be verified. No where in the Presidents' address did he mention moving the command to Sambisa except of course if you ignorantly equate Maiduguri to Sambisa. Inferring from your assertion, the command center should not be in Abuja because like Maiduguri, Abuja has also suffered attacks from Boko Haram. This is a new dawn in our country's history, it will do us all a world of good if you resist the temptation to jump into conclusions. 1 Like |

You got it all wrong! In olden & modern day conflicts, command centers are not too far from the battle front, Maiduguri have not really seen any Major battle as the insurgents have not been able to infiltrate Maiduguri, also note that in all the areas where conflicts have taken place in those countries you mentioned, command centers are near by( just some few kilometres) from the theatre of war. Did America have their command center outside Baghdad when shia & other terrorist groups were fighting them there? Did ukrane have theirs in Kiev? Did Assad have his in Damascus?did Russia have theirs in Moscow during Georgia war? Did america gave theirs in Korea during Vietnam war? Capital NO! Please get your facts right as Buhari is a war veteran & a general, he fought during the civil war, he fought against a islamists group almost like book haram in the early 80s & he lead troops against the Chadians when they invaded Nigerian part of Chad basin so he knows what he is doing. Let me ask you a question? What have the military achieved for about 6 years now, with their command center in Abuja? |

Area of Responsibility Countries for USA Central Military Command Located in Mac Dill Air force Base in Tampa Florida..
Afghanistan Bahrain Egypt Iraq Jordan Kazakhstan Kuwait Kyrgyzstan Lebanon Oman Pakistan Qatar Saudi Arabia Tajikistan Turkmenistan U.A.E. Uzbekistan Yemen
Tactically its a great Blunder for Mr Buhari to relocated the Military Central command right into sambisa forest when he knew quite well that these people are non combatants they are not infantry soldiers and their area of responsibilty covers a wider area than just boko haram. they monitor , deploy and protect both Nigeria air land and water from both internal and external aggression.
Relocating Nigeria military Central Command to frontline war zone is the most senseless decision any president have ever taken and such action is capable of endangering Nigeria external security an outside force may invade the nation of Nigeria in time like these..
This wrong decision calls for us to revisit Buhari certificate scandal and how he come about his title of Major General when he is incapable of simple kindergarten Military Decision

Eziachi: Three questions for this op 1. Are you more aware of military command and structure than a five star military general that had commanded troops and infantries?
2. Why do the Americans set up their command/Staff centre in the "GREEN ZONE" inside Baghdad and in Kuwait for the two Gulf wars?
3. Why did the American had their command centre at the Bagram Airport Base in Kabul Afghanistan?
If this is the way you guys are planning to run this opposition business, you should have taken up Lai Mohammed earlier offer for a free lesson on opposition politics. We Are taking about moving your Central Command in Abuja to Maiduguri...He did not say he was setting up a North East Command to focus on the Problem there... |

With this write up, it shows the op knows nothing about the military formations and not fit to call himself a political analyst so i suggest u keep your calm and watch the general operate. |
