1 or 2 players will not make much difference.truth is there is no cohesion in this team unlike the 2009 team

very true boss, the team lacks alot of things from the attack to defense. No cohession, lack of understanding between center backs. Another problem is this team struggles with 4-4-2 formation.... Maybe sellas should adopt a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 formation.

lol. Your team will make Awoniyi look like LeBron both in skills and physique grin. Y'all can take Chidera, even though he's probably taller than the entire BS team, he's a lanky boy unlike broad Taiwo grin

problem with sellas is that, he wants all his teams to play the 4-4-2 formation, it work very well with the 2009 team but it doesnt suit this team. he also lucks a player who will link the midfield to attack, only clifford aboagye can do that but he didnt play today coz he didnt arrive early to camp......the team didnt alsn work on how to take advantage of set pieces. From the african youth championship to dis game today, we got alot of free kicks and corners but we couldnt use it to our advantage.

they haven't been beaten in 43 games and have lost just once in about 5 years. Ivory Coast is the only team so far that have subdued our boys and Sweden to an extent. But we've learnt from those blunders

Hey bro long time hope you good. Like safarigirl said our team are for the most part genuine youngsters us the fans have been tracking their progress and development for some years now so we can trust that they are not age cheats. Your lads look OK too from their young faces
Yeah, I am great thank for the shout out.
With regards to you the fans tracking their progress, Ah well na you sabi oo… Our lads look OK but I don't trust the old cats at the FA to have new tricks, so I am indifferent about them. How Buhari?

i know even with the lost to ivory coast, it was on p.k but from what i saw at the african youth championship against ivory coast where they drew 2-2. A well organized team can cause an upset against them.

Moses Simon pushes to start for Flying Eagles

Ghent of Belgium forward Moses Simon could be in line for surprise starting place in the Flying Eagles opening World Cup match on Monday after he played in place of Musa Yahaya on the left side of midfield in Saturday’s training.

Simon, fresh from winning a first-ever Belgian league championship with Ghent in 115 years, was the only change in a possible starting XI coach Manu Garba is considering for Monday’s showdown against the highly-fancied South Americans.

Musa Yahaya played from the left side of midfield for what looks like the starting XI in Friday’s training, but it was Simon who took his place in Saturday’s training.

And he even scored with a left-footed belter in a 2-1 win for the main team against the second side.

Mustapha Abdullahi smashed home the opening goal for first team, before Simon doubled the advantage.

Godwin Saviour, who is also pushing for a starter’s shirt, pulled a goal for the other team and could have even drawn his team level in the closing moments but he missed target from inside the box.

Flying Eagles main team on Saturday

Joshua Enaholo – Musa Mohammed, Mustapha Abdullahi, Wilfred Ndidi, Zaharadeen Bello – Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Ifeanyi Matthew, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon – Taiwo Awoniyi, Isaac Success.

But wait o, shebi it's 21 players that made the team? So if 11 players play for "team possible" leaving 10 for the probables. shey na 11 against 10 ni abi na Ugbade complete the 11?

My guess is 10 a side, remember there are 3 keepers so 1 goal keeper is out of d match.

the most organised team we ever played were Sweden and Uruguay and even they couldn't get wins. We have an Awoniyi that solely defeated Zambia's U-23 team and an Iheanacho that was showing off his elders during City PS. Any team that can defeat these boys will win this tournament

we will see how the development of iheanacho, awoniyi, isaac success and the rest goes. We all said same for chrisantus mccauley, oseni gani, ibrahim rabiu, dominic adiyiah, ransford osei but they never forfilled their potential....

we will wait and see, the flying eagles are a very strong team to beat but well lets see how it will go should they meet the german or argentine team.

Just my guess,
other possibility is a starting 11 against 11 weak side of 2 keepers (1 bc defender) n a coaching staff
