Hello All, 1st Application Applied: March 27 Biometrics: Apr 8 Refused: May 14 Application Details I'm on the board of directors of a family company, my eldest brother is the MD and sole signatory of the account, He transferred a very decent amount of money to my account for this study project, so i wrote in my SOP that the company is sponsoring by virtue of being a director and that i will return to take active position in the company. I mentioned that the company transferred an initial sum of money into my account (I attached the bank statement). I attached the company documents in the application showing them my directorship and all, I showed them minutes of the board resolution stating how a director will be sent for a study leave so a to develop the company. Additionally, as a director I have been receiving a decent director's allowance monthly for about years into that same personal account ( I even attached the pay-slips). Refusal Notice: As an applicant for a study permit, you must establish that your intentions are bona fide and that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay. You must satisfy an officer that you will not contravene the conditions of admission and that you do not belong in a category of persons inadmissible to Canada under the Act. You must satisfy an officer that you will meet the requirements of Part 12 of the Regulations, including satisfying the officer that you have adequate financial resources to pay tuition fees and support your stay in Canada. Additional factors mentioned; You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including: your travel history your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence purpose of visit your personal assets and financial status. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE, BRETHREN. |

Porlo87 Good morning and sorry about the delay. But I think we lack information enough to understand these reasons given. Here are a few questions tho, if you will be open enough to answer them: 1. Did you submit the company's SOA? If yes, then why the need for them to transfer huge sum of money to your personal account. 2. Did the company state specifically why you have been picked and show evidence to back up such previous expenditure, or any plan for disbursement of funds/tuition? 3. Are you old enough (>30) and without your own family/personal properties? 4. Does what you do in the company relate with your intended program? if it does, what is your highest qualification and what are you going for? Answer these then list your docs and people here can give suggestions. Peace. |

JeuelStar: JeuelStar: Do you work, own a business or a student in Nigeria? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by JeuelStar(f): 8:41am On May 31, 2015 |
justwise:I am a student now in a part-program and recently became unemployed but helps in managing the family business like provision store only plus the store doesn't have any account though...and me too don't have any account that has money or property either. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by justwise(m): 8:49am On May 31, 2015 |
JeuelStar: That leaves you with no strong tie to Nigeria, you can't get a visa relying solely on documents from your friend alone no matter how good they are. As an adult you need to show a strong tie to your home country to stand any chance with visiting visa. You can get more info here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp 1 Like |

john4affiliate:Its nothing much... Just that a powerful fireball was released by JustWizzy which was skillfully parried by Ferdimako, everybody inside the arena was expecting Ferdimako to unleash his dragon-style fireball missile which he was known for in USA and Australia thread but he calm down. There was a round of applause (Likes) given to Ferdimako, this further infuriates JustWizzy, still expecting Ferdii missile but turned his back and left the Arena mumbling something that sounds like "he who leaves arena alive lives to fight someday, JW, you won't be so lucky like this some other time". 10 Likes |
