Jesus also went into the grave to fulfill the scripture, meaning he met with those already dead meaning God gave them a last opportunity but I believe as many alive still don't see Jesus as their lord and savior so are many in the grave when Jesus gave up his life and he resurrected the third day, all these to fulfill the scripture. This messiah was to bring total and final redemption to humanity. So to deviate from the plan of God by bringing a non Jew of whom nothing had been said previously with regards to the salvation of mankind is impossible! Even a prophets who have greatly evolved spiritually only have a part knowledge of the entire universe. He's only permitted to understand what his spiritual origin affords him to grasp.

Jesus, a higher authority possess an infinitely greater awareness than a prophets!

Jesus had to come when it was seen from above that humanity is dangerously drifting in darkness.

When they sacrificed the animals (lambs, bulls and goats) in the Old testament, it was a symbolism of what Christ would come to do for mankind. The lamb died in their place the same way Jesus would later come to die in our place.

One thing you have to understand is the timelessness of the cross of Christ. That is, it cuts across time.

When those people in the old testament made those sacrifices, they were looking forward to the future Christ who would come to die for man. The blood of the lambs covered their sins until when Jesus would come to finally take away the sins

Read Romans 2. The bible states that our ancestors who did not have the word of God will be judged based on their conscience, because God's law is written on our conscience.

If the conscience of our ancestors sufficed for them at the time. Why can't that same conscience suffice for us at this present time? What changed? My question is,What happened to the Likes of Abraham,David ,Solomon and all these before Christ was born?? What was the Criteria for their own salvation since Christ was not born at the time??
Were they saved By the Good works day did ?? If so,why Do we need Christ in d First place when The People that were born before Christ still made it to Heaven.??
