Expecting the Naira to hit N245 by December. Also I'm awaiting the announcement of loans negotiation with the IMF and World bank by August. Only fools took that change crap serious, all you people had to do, was be realistic. 2 Likes |

Lastdon02: Actually it means you become more broke not richer. When the currency is deflated, inflation kicks in to compensate. This means prices of almost everything will go up. This also means that while your dollar fetches more Naira your buying power remains unchanged or even diminished. Hope you understand. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Hopefully oil prices would soon start going up again so our economy can bounce back but lessons have been learned that we cant solely depend on earnings from oil. Also, talking about making naira equal to the dollar doesnt make any economic sense so it should be shelved and taken as a slip from the general |

Mogidi:Did he promise to do so as soon as be took office? Is he not taking steps to make that possible?...or do you think that happens by the stroke of a pen? It is quicker and easier to destroy than to build....how long did it take to break down tthe Naira to this level? ..then you should expect a much longer time to get it up again. 1 Like |

Originalsly: I hope you statement was a joke. If you have even the slightest understanding of currency markets you would know that it is an impossibility to establish parity between the naira and the green back. The main point of the article is that Oil revenues have reduced. Cash flow has reduced. The government has and will take on more international debt to fund running of the economy. All equals to further devaluation. Hope you understand. |
