Fayose Cannot Be Impeached Again, Court Orders Status Quo Maintained by BERNIMOORE: 11:53pm On Jun 01, 2015 |
justice Evoh Chukwu of the federal High court had Ordered Ekiti Lawmakers To Stop Fayose’s Impeachment Proceedings on 24 th april 2015 http://www.theheraldng.com/court-orders-ekiti-lawmakers-to-stop-fayoses-impeachment-proceedings/ http://www.channelstv.com/2015/04/24/impeachment-abuja-court-orders-ekiti-lawmakers-to-maintain-status-quo/ A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the All Progressives Congress (APC) members in the Ekiti House of Assembly seeking the impeachment of Governor Ayodele Fayose to maintain the status quo. The court says the order should be upheld pending the determination of the suit filed by seven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers in the state. A renewed last minute rumored impeachment against fayose will hold no water since the outgoing APC lawmakers knew that they cant hold meeting and direct the chief judge who will and must aknowledge within 7 days a receipt of order to set up panel, already the APC lawmakers have just 2 days to go plus a court order on ground supporting fayose on maintaining status quo, the impeachment case id dead and buried, enjoy the impotent last drama 2 Likes |

Fayose told them to impeach God first if they want to impeach him,but they thought he was bluffing ..The impeachment plot is dead and buried. Fayose can now relax and give the good people of Ekiti State the dividends of democracy. 2 Likes 1 Share |

U think Fayose does not know of d existence of this court order, yet is begging PMB to intervene and is inciting urchins to uphold his so called mandate by all means? They say d "guilty runneth when no man pursueth thee". Fayose would be a lucky man to escape impeachment and if he does, his entire rule in d state would be turbulent and a harrowing one for Ekitians. |

wallex1983: This is not the time to play who is right and who is wrong, plus there is a court judgement barring any proceedings, are you saying they should disobey the court order in other to settle their "score" with fayose when they have less than 2 days to the end of their tenure Its high time they let whatever transpired between them (the law makers) and fayose go for the sake of the people of ekiti and for peace... |

Taeewo:APC lawmakers in Ekiti withdrawn their suit vs Fayose before court determination, which means that they concur with Fayose impeaching Omirin as legal impeachment http://dailypost.ng/2015/04/10/apc-lawmakers-withdraw-suit-against-fayose-plan-fresh-tactics/ |
