You seem to forget SA has lottery which turns South Africans millionaires every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of every week, every month and every year.

Poverty in SA is below 35%, we have a government that gives the poor free groceries, social grants, free school feeding schemes, free child grant, free health care, free houses and now what do you want. No government in Africa does that to its people. In SA you are given a free money just to have a baby and not working.

The status quo remains and will never be erased even in the next 50 years. Addressing poverty takes immense amount of time.

Both PPP and GDP of Nigeria has fallen due to the poor currency. I have also assessed it in bureau de change centre recently and it keeps on falling badly despite the positive growth.

Meko a100 is a very "meh" platform in the OPV role

Not to mention that the Gowind has a crew of only 30 - as apposed to the 70 or so on the A100. muuuch cheaper in terms of "human costs"

Aaaannd the Gowind can be upgraded to mount SSM's AND has VLS tubes in the design

But, as i understand it, the ability to operate in sea state 4 (and launch and recover helo's i this sea state) is one of the biggest criterion for Project Biro - and thats i criterion we dont know

As I have it, the Gowind class has a complement of 80, the A100 also has a complement 80, thus no difference there.
Both will have the Davit system for rapid deployment, so again no difference there.

But I must say the Gowind class has remarkable range, it definitely beats the A100 in this category.

Both could also potentially carry an array of SSMs and VLSs thus again not a big difference.

So basically it comes down to preference, I still like the A100 Meko due to its near identical similarities with the A200, but Ill be almost just as happy with the Gowind class.
