I know it's a fallacy to generalize based on a person's experience with one or two persons, but there's an element of truth in what the OP is saying. I'll explain.

Environment usually affects people's behaviour. That's why people who grew up or lived in Warri have a way of speaking and behaving. The same goes for someone who grew up in Lagos and Port Harcourt; they have a way they talk and reason, which is peculiar to where they grew up. That's why it's easy to identify where a person grew up cos of some of his traits.

That said, persons who grew up in Owerri, generally like to outsmart you, same goes for Aba. They see it as a way of life, their style. To them there's nothing wrong in it and will think you re over reacting if you get angry with them. It's just normal.

Note that i didn't say everyone FROM Owerri behaves like that, but people who GREW up in Owerri will most likely be that way, cos of that's a norm to them ("nwa di sharp").And there's always an except to every rule.
