Hungary defeats Brazil nd loose againt us then have (6 points)
Brazil looses against hungary nd defeats Korea with (6 points)

Which means goals difference thing comes into place. Now we will have to score as many goals as we can against Korea "hoping we will win them" Hungary looks good to me so we should expect a difficult side playing them in the last game.

Then came uae 2013, our current flying eagles(then golden eaglets) were down 0-2 vs sweden. Pple started insulting the team esp alampasu (who was jittery that day but went on to win the golden gloves award. I believe Enaholo is a de ja vu of this and it will all end well 4 the Flying Eagles in NZ... Come June 20) but I told them this, "u all speak this way coz u dont 'know' dis team. If u do, u'll be as calm as I am..." AGAIN I WAS VINDICATED... And I went on to predict 'outrageously' that d same way our grp ended is the same way the tournament will end... 1ST-NIGERIA, 2ND-MEXICO, 3RD-SWEDEN.
I have lots and lots of experiences Sir... But I dont think that makes me Nigeria's greatest and most passionate fan in all levels of soccer... But I believe I'm in a Class of my own *big smiles*

Nigeria’s 4-2 loss to Brazil at the Fifa 2015 U20 World Cup elicited a lot of debate on social and conventional media this week.

A lot of flak was thrown the way of goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo who let in two goals that would definitely make the bloopers reel at the end of the tournament.

The MFM goal-tender did little to assuage the fact that he could be depended upon between the sticks with his school boys errors but that wasn’t the whole story to the defeat.

Touted as Nigeria’s most complete youth side of recent, the Flying Eagles above were expected to steam roll their Group E opponents and set the stage for a first ever world title at U20 level.

Alas, it didn't go according to script.

Nigeria will have to win their next two matches against North Korea and Hungary to stand any chance of progressing to the next stage like it happened at Colombia 2011 and Turkey 2013.

Coach Garba Manu and his assistant Nduka Ugbade have hit the gongs pretty loud and sounded out the battle cry for their wards to get it right in their remaining matches at the Fifa U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Supersport.com suggests four areas the Flying Eagles need fix so as to get their campaign back on track to get that elusive U20 crown.

Don’t upset the apple cart

Manu had a template from his U17 days which served pretty well. It won him two successive trophies at different age groups.

A tremendous attacking front line who inter-switch at will and a midfield that stifles opponents and makes sure possession is retained as soon as it is lost.

However, in New Zealand, Manu tweaked his formation and it backfired spectacularly.

Taiwo Awoniyi, Success Isaac and Kelechi Iheanacho all started the game against Brazil, which translated to-more attack, less defence.

That was a colossal mistake.

Musa Yahaya, who is mainly known for his attacking qualities was lightweight in defending which left the mid field quite open for Brazil to run at. The regular central defensive partnership of Zaharadeen Bello and Izu Prince Omego was jettisoned for a Wilfred Ndidi/Bello pairing.

Brazil’s first goal expose their lack of understanding of each other’s game.

The compactness was lost, Brazil had a field day in the middle .This has to be sorted, Manu has to revert to what worked for him. If it isn’t broken, why fix it?

Retain Enaholo

This might sound absurd considering the goalkeepers gaffes against Brazil, but I dare say he remains our best prospect in that area.

With due respect to Olorunleke Ojo and Dele Alampasu who are the back up keepers, It would be like sounding the alarm bells if he is dropped for the next game.

He proved big for the team in Senegal during the Africa Youth Championship with some crucial saves that saw the team win the trophy.

A lot, of the victory in Senegal will be ascribed to the prolific Taiwo Awoniyi and the other cast, but Enaholo was the silent harbinger in a cast of crowns.

Score goals and more goals

Goals will be a huge factor in Group E when the chips are down. Already, Nigeria has a differential of two going into the second game, which doesn't augur well for the team considering Brazil has four and Hungary hit North Korea for five.

The attacking verve that the team is known for has to come to fore. The Flying Eagles are condemned to win, but they have to win with good margins to avoid the tiny winy bit of goals difference going into the final games.

Permutations have already begun from some stables as it is expected Nigeria should get her first win against North Korea below who expectedly are the whipping boys of the group, and then enter the crunch game against Hungary on a high.

Again, the game between Brazil and Hungary will determine a lot that would happen gong into the final group matches so consequently, the Flying Eagles have to score bags of goals.

That itself is a tall order, but this Flying Eagles can do it.

Team spirit

The coaches have to find a way to keep team spirit alive and psyched the boys up for the remainder of the tournament.

The defeat to Brazil was the first for the squad in nearly 15 matches, and this might be new to them but they have to deal with it and get ready for the next game.

Assistant coach Nduka Ugbade is sounding bullish already suggesting his wards will get it right in subsequent games, but the chemistry has to be right considering some of the team members met up for the first time in a long while in New Zealand.

Above all, Garba Manu has no choice than to get his selection right against North Korea and Hungary in the last group game on June 7th

As reactions continue to trail the Flying Eagles 2-4 loss to Brazil at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, former coach of the team, John Obuh has advised Manu Garba to make some changes in the team that will face Korea on Thursday.

Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday, Obuh who led the Flying Eagles to two World Cups in 2011 and 2013, said having seen the performance of the players in the first game, the coach should make the necessary changes in the team that will play against Korea.

He said most times players who are on the bench come forward to deliver the good, so Coach Garba should not be afraid to introduce some of the players who did not play against Brazil.

Speaking from experience, Obuh said anytime he does not get the kind of result he expects in an opening match, he tinkers with his team so Manu should do the same thing.

"What I will advise our people to do is to look at the team again. In a tournament the players who start are not necessarily the best. He has his team but he should look at it again and make the necessary changes.

"He should look at the players who were on the bench. There may be some certain players on the same level but some have to start so now that he has played the first game and it did not come out very well, he has to look at the team. He should look at the players he believes are good for the second game.

"Those who did not measure up in the opening match should drop to the bench. That's what I do. When I go for a tournament and I play my first game and don't see what I want, I make changes in the second game. He should not hesitate to bench any player," he said.

He also blamed Flying Eagles defeat against Brazil on complacency.

Obuh said had they sustained the first half performance, they would have gotten a better result against the South Americans.[/b]

In a good note, I heard Perreira didn't do shiit. . So now, we have to win Hungary, let's hope Korea is just a really shitty team from that scoreline. All in all, we finish second, we jam Germany and hope for a miracle.

A stunning stoppage-time free-kick from Kevin Gutierrez saw Mexico snatch a 2-1 victory over Uruguay to put El Tri back on track in Group D.

Hirving Lozano capitalised on poor defending to put the Mexicans ahead, before Mathias Suarez's late equaliser looked to have left the eventual victors struggling to reach the last 16. However Kevin Gutierrez's last-gasp strike drew them level with their South American opponents on three points.

After a disappointing start to the tournament, the CONCACAF champions began in earnest as they looked to get back on course towards the knockout stages. Danger man Lozano almost made the positive start count after his powerful header rattled the crossbar following Jose Ramirez's delicious outside-of-the-boot cross.

That momentum was almost entirely undone though in a two minute period that saw the best and worst of Mexico keeper Jose Gonzalez. His horribly miscued clearance should have been punished by Franco Acosta, but the FC Dallas produced one of the saves of the tournament so far to dive high to his left and tip Kevin Mendez's rasping shot on to the top of the bar.

Mendez again looked dangerous when he skipped through the Mexico area to fire a vicious ball right across the face of goal. A minute later, Orbelin Pineda showed great skill to cut in from the left and take aim at the top corner, but found only the side-netting.

While both sides probed after the break, each struggled with their final pass, so it was no surprise that the opener came from a mistake. Mauricio Lemos dwelled on the ball and, after Lozano had robbed him to race through and score, the result was a crucial lead for the Mexicans.

Were it not for a splendid save by Gaston Guruceaga, it would have been two, with the Uruguay keeper denying an unmarked Pineda. And that save looked all the more crucial five minutes later. A deep free-kick wasn't defended well and Rodrigo Amaral managed to scoop a volley towards goal. Gonzalez produced his second superb save to deny him an equaliser, but Suarez duly scrambled the rebound home to level the scores.

A second yellow in stoppage time for Erick Cabaco left the South Americans down to ten, but the drama was to follow seconds later. The free-kick he conceded, positioned right on the edge of the box, was converted with aplomb as Gutierrez picked out the top-right corner, leaving Guruceaga with no chance. [/b]
