For awhile now, the BRAKE indicator light had been coming on and off on the dash board of my car. I use a Camry 2000, XLE, I4 engine.
I have checked the hydraulic oil level, it is showing minimum level. Is there any other checks i need to do. Also, what is the likely cause of the blinking brake light indicator. Informed responses will be appreciated

Check your brake fluid, it is probably low

Ur brake fluid is showing minimum level, why not top it and then examine if the light goes off.

"DO NOT" top up your brake oil container, brake oil is closed loop system, the only reasons for a drop in fluid levels are 1. A leak, 2 worn out brake pads.

Check for leaks and worn out pads.

U are not missing anything. There are xle camrys that are not v6.

U just don't top d brake fluid anyhow.It also indicate d level of d brake pad.Check if there is no leakage.

Check pads first if there is no sign of leaks.when you install new pads level will come back up

Take it for a scan. Cud b d ABS abt to fail. Or master break. Not a break fluid matter.
