First of all, I don't understand what the fuss is about. Bruce Jenner is just another transgender. In fact, I think his choice to change is very selfish. If you are going to change, change before you have kids. Change before you deceive women into thinking you are who you are.

Look at his kids. Imagine how this decision affects them; Their father is now their mother??

He didn't think of his kids and his 20+ yr old marriage. I don't even want to start discussing their family issues because there's so much of what they put out there that I don't agree with.

My psych professor says he doesn't care what people or legislation says, that transgendered people don't belong in the same group as gays and lesbians because it fits all the criteria to be classified as a disorder. If you add the fact that it arises from a known psychiatric condition (gender dysphoria) plus that fact that There's like one only trans for every 300 or more persons in America. it is deviation from the norm.

The main purpose of feminism is to promote human rights for women and it would be unfair to discriminate against transgenders because of their sex change.
They should just be accepted like any other fellow woman, so long their goal is to redress issues that negatively effect girls and women because of inequality.
The focus should be on the goals they aim to achieve as feminists, not their sex (sex-change thereof).

I would agree that what he did was rather crazy, but l would not entirely agree that it was selfish. He has always put his family first and he was able to raise his children until they were old enough to understand the decisions they made in life.

He cannot only live his life to please everyone else. Look at it this way he spent the first 65 years of his life being someone everybody else wanted to see and now he is spending the last years of his life being whom he has always wanted to be all his life.

He played his part when he was a husband and a father and now its time for him to live his life the way he has always wanted to live it, not the way society had always wanted it to be. Its crazy in everyone else's eyes but thats what makes him happy.
