Obiodunukwe: You are reasonable , i am quite impressed , Initially i did not want to comment , but your comment inspired me When was the last time Buhari held a political position ? They won't see that Buhari is shocking everybody with his doing , Who knew where and how he picked Osinbajo , his security and chief of staff? Buhari knows as much as Nigerians know that the system is corrupt , he has to choose wisely without actually offending those who brought him to power Finally , So Far Buhari has been proving that he belongs to no one , he can't be ordered around or controlled by anyone And that's why PDPiiigs are crying 7 Likes |

SenseiX: It is barely Seven days since coming to office, but the President already scored five major points that translate to dividends of democracy. That is an average of a point a day: 1. He cut down recurrent expenditure by reducing the number of Special Advisers from 136 that Jonathan had, to just 15 for him. Yet, the critics alleged that he has already failed. 2. Marching order to Generals to move out of their Abuja air conditioned offices and relocate to Battlefield. Yet, the hypocrites said he is a failure. 3. Undertaking trilateral meeting with Niger and Chad leaders on how to stamp out Boko Haram once and for all. Again, he is already a failure. 4. Refused to interfere with National Assembly leadership selections. Could any sane Nigerian bliv such would ever happen? 5. "I belong to nobody" - No godfather or ethnic group, including his, that can dictate or influence him. He is a joker, is all they could say. For sixteen years of doom, the hypocrites expect a magic wand instantly to restore in six days what their clueless hero couldn't in six years. Such a childish mode of thinking. I pray for God to protect and continue to guide him. Amen! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Doomsday enthusiasts, just as GEJ's failure was felt and shared by all, GMB's success or otherwise will rub off on us all. All I hear and see are a bunch of self-serving unpatriotic citizens throwing toys out of the pram. A man has barely completed 10 working days as president, not of NANs oh, but a country and you're appraising his performance or lack of it. |

Whoever wrote this piece made catastrophic errors at every turn , and should not be allowed within a mile of leadership. The gentleman/lady made assertions and comparisons which are beyond reality. The individual expects a bastardisation of every ministry and department because a new president is in office, we need to promote institutions in Nigeria where leadership change does not require a complete breakdown and reconstruction. Imagine if all the military leadership was relieved of duty, all ministries dissolved and all departmental heads replaced within a period of a day/week or even a month , the whole country would go into disarray, order would be lost and junior officials would take advantage and abuse power. That is the suggestion the writer has provided. Just destroy everything and rebuild it all in a day! a true leader is systematic, applies reasoning and tact in his actions. Buhari at the moment is not going to be rushed into making a decision which would affect the lives of all Nigerians and the future before us. Why should he appoint his team prematurely to satisfy the political agenda of individuals or party affiliates. The executive is like a rally team; the two most important people are the driver(buhari) and navigator(Osinbajo) a mechanical team would be assembled with regard to competence and requirements, our neighbors in Chad and Niger need to be updated as to the direction we intend to go concerning this BH menace which has methamophorsized into a sub-saharan ISIS wing and has drastic effects on the region from turkey to Nigeria/cameroon and every nation in-between . In the end the war on IS would be comparable to a world-war in the effort that would be required for the undertaking and Nigeria along with Egypt would have to spearhead the african front. If I may update you, while the US army has it's military echelon based in pentagon, during a military effort a senior general is appointed a Field Marshal (The coveted 5 star General) who is forward based in safe proximity to the war effort , able to direct military strategy, relate to pentagon, organise supplies, equipment and has a major influence on operational procedures. Since the writer has little knowledge of military command and has decided to use USA as an example i'll highlight two well respected individuals ; General S Patton and Dwight Eisenhower; both loved and adored by riflemen of every rank in the service. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

IbokUtoroh: Exaccerly!!! Sometimes, when I do my sarcastic criticisms, I give myself a hearty laugh before posting. Lmao. My close friend is APC, and when we are done with our usual banters, I'd tell him... After all is said and done, we want a Nigeria that works. If he is an individual with foresight... He will allow these criticisms be his fuel, his drive to succeed. Fayose comes to mind. He was heavily criticized... But most of us are now doffing our hearts. If for nothing, but his resilience. 4 Likes |

By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed - Prov. 11:11 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way. (1 Timothy 2:1-2) Spend less time looking and secretly wishing the government to fail. Less time condemning, cursing and predicting . It is a disservice to ourselves, our children and their children for generations to come for YOU will have what YOU say. Remember the story in the bible - 2 King Chapter 7: 1. Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seaha of the finest flour will sell for a shekelb and two seahsc of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” 2. The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” 3. “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!” The lesson here is to guard our heart and watch what we say. If the government fails, Nigerians suffer - and that includes the people we love and cherish. If we would rather exercise our heart and mouth in hate and unbelief, then we should be afraid of God contending against God when He moves. It doesn't matter who you support, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God - Rom 13:1. Should criticism not be allowed? Definitely NO. We should criticize when things are not been done properly. Buy it is not IF we criticize but HOW we criticize. My final advice is in James 1:19 & 20 - Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. |

IbokUtoroh:It doesn't bug me cos it is never my problem to deal with it. How they elect to handle it is entirely theirs. I trust that ministry is part of sai baba agenda cos he seems to have gone into hiding and wondering why people misquote him from 1$ to 1naira. His strategic team has identified comprehension as the root cause. Expect changes in that aspect Bro. |
