but you can't compare snapdragon or ti omap ( even though it has been discontinued) to mediatec no matter how many core or ghz it has. it is less optimized to run certain apps eg: some apps like spiderman 2 or call of duty will run on an old gingerbread hardware and mediatek won't run the app regardless of the gpu. and by the way.. what is the gpu on this device.

As far as I know no current gen mediatek SOCs have any problem running any generally released app.

This Elephone uses MT6752 chipset which contains the Mali-T760 GPU, the same GPU the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge uses.

No, all Elephone P7000 before 25/5/2015 have the problem.

1) Is their a warranty on this device and if yes, who will be making the warranty? A local company here or the seller on NL?

2) What happens if there is a need to replace part in the future? Are the parts readily available? If yes, where precisely can one fix such a phone here in Lagos?

I said it didn't support OTA. It has wireless update in it's system menu just doesn't support OTA yet. The new RPOM corrects that
