U can't tell me this present lineup are better than more exposed, technically sound players like Success, Nacho n Simon.. Because we defeated Korea doesn't mean it's d best we can av.. I jst. Pray Manu gets his right mix b4 we get to the Q'finals

femi9naija:

The current left back was Manu's first choice prior to the u17 world cup. I think he got injured or so, that's why Okon was brought in. I loved Okon then, in fact i tipped him for a top club after the competition but that didn't happen. On the issue of Okon being better than the current one, you don't know how his current form is
I am not saying he should be given the position if he isn't fit, just comparing their performances when they have the shirt.

Celebrating a goal that ll give us the European Champs as opponent? That's none of my business.

Half -time

A good performance but it seems we have sacrificed attacking prowess for defensive solidity

I think it will be best if Marnu brings on Kelechi in the second half. He has nothing to lose and we really need him to gel with the team...

Best performers:

Idowu: This guy is so good, he even picked out a few great passes.

Bulbwa: held on to the ball for a bit longer than he should have but was quite good

Bello: calm

Awoniyi: took his goal well, running the channels

Average performers

Mustapha: Not offering much at the moment

Muhammed: good positions, not so good crossing

The attack was very sharp against brazil but we lost, Right now, we are defending very well. We will find the right balance.
