falcao is a still a ''nice striker", the only thing he lack now is confidence. And i think thats one of jose mourinho managerial qualities . if you check mourinho transfer record he always go for what the team need best and how to get the best out of his players.

That's quite harsh . Stranger things have happened u know. The one thing that will prevent england from producing such a player is the way the academies here are run. Most academy coaches will see him as to short and weak to run a midfield not realising there is more to midfield play than just brawns and athleticism.

Why do you and others argue like this? This is not constructive. I have stood on the sidelines and not participated in this argument because it is devoid of logical conclusions.

The reason why Chelsea fans place emphasis on Hazard's dribbles and chances created is because we know that if he plays alongside Messi and Suarez, he will rack up more assists and goals. It is not even hard to make this conclusion.

Simple reasoning shows that in Suarez, Messi and Neymar, Barca have 3 players that can walk past many defenders with the ball. This gives the opposition more things to worry about and this naturally makes decisions for each one of them, very much easier.

At Chelsea, a Hazard-Costa-Willian forward line is very dissimilar to Barcelona's and very many levels lower in overall quality. This gives the opposition fewer things to worry about and their game plan is to mark out Hazard. And as seen in every game, Hazard is constantly marked by 3 players. Opposition players can afford to do that because we don't have a Messi and Suarez alongside him. If he did, opposition defensive game plan will be different and this naturally gives Hazard more space to operate. He will require less dribbles and be suddenly presented with a platform to be more productive.

In addition to this technical explanation, Hazard also has strict instructions from his boss to help out his full back for as many times as required. This Neymar doesn't have to do. (It will be interesting to compare km covered per game between Hazard and Neymar)

In spite of the challenges and huge difference in quality, Hazard still manages to win EPL player of the year. How hard is it to conclude that Hazard, with similar players in ability, can be more productive?

Anyone who argues contrary to this is on a different agenda.


I will never argue that Hazard at this moment is better than Neymar but those who think that Neymar is infinitely better than Hazard should go and lie down abeg.
