It is very unfortunate. I know of a guy that just joined one of the upstream subsidiaries of NNPC. He did same test on 06-Dec-2014.

You don't av 2 feed wrong and unreliable info in dis thread especially wen it's unconfirmed nd false knowing full well pple are apprehensive here. Besyds ur "frnd" culd b on contract dere cos dey recruit pple on contract when dere is an urgent nid in such subsidiaries. The reason 4 dis delay is logical,nnpc is unstable 4 now but soonest interview invites wuld b sent. Shalom!

Keep hope alive and use long legs if they are at your disposal. And was any 2-2 candidate invited for the GT test? But this guy did the test.

Judging by antecedents, it's one of the arms of govt where there is merit to a large extent in recruitment even under a corrupt govt, let alone a govt dat does not plant to tolerate corruption. Well I have learnt in this life that nothing is impossible especially when Nigeria is concerned but God is in control. Well am sure ur friend isn't confirmed yet but if he's working there already, he's definitely gonna b confirmed after d interview.
