tbaba1234:Hahahahaha@wholesales, he be like say you be marketer. Jokes aside, I think Manu Garba has more than one team and you will get to see the subsequent team(s) in the course of this competition. Nwakali is our veira and he is gonna play in big matches, the midfield duo of Bulbwa and Ifeanyin insn't fast enough, I wouldn't have had any problem with them if they are as quick as they should be.Whatever happens, Idowu should play o. |

safarigirl:One very vital point most people here have continually failed to notice is that, the Germans have not been tested by superior opponents in this tournament why the Darling SuperFlying Eagles have and understand how painful it is to loose, which might work to their favour. The Germans will be making a big mistake if they still rate their chances of making it to the next stage, when they meet us judging from our first match. The Super High Flying Eagles have learnt their bitter lessons and aren't ready to repeat same. ;(;(hardluckgermany;(;( |

safarigirl: It was Haruna that the German player fouled in the Germany Vs Nigeria 2009 U20 ( CFCfan pointed it out earlier). Haruna got the ball and he wanted to send the ball forward to the attacking line. Then he changed his mind and decided to be the next Jay Jay Okocha. The German player pushed him off the ball and Haruna waited for a foul instead of chasing. To cap it up, when they reached our post, who else but that wasted Keeper Emeka Okafor (Still wondering where Siasia found him). That is how we conceded. It is time to right that wrong. 1 Like |

naturalwaves: hmm. Lemme use a brief from the barcelona vs juve final yesternite. Nacho can take his messi role and leave awo(neymar) and isaac(sua) if he doesnt getto net. We are too attack minded to dwell on a lone striker. That way a rakitic(who sef? Nwakali or is it Godwin?) can show surprise movements in the box and mind you the Germans wouldnt be able to contain it. We would test the strength of their defence for the 1st time. While they would test the strength of our midfield after Brazil did so. Germany- during training-laugh, crack jokes during match-get serious FE- during training- serious during match-mean business. 2 Likes |

Sir Olapluto is right. There's just no way winner 37(Ghana vs Mali) will meet winner 42 (Austria vs Uzbehkistan) since Ghana and Austria came out of the same group. It wud be a meeting too soon. It's winner 37 vs winner 41 (Nigeria vs Germany) in da 1/4 finals. I think the confusion is that pple think Nigeria's game is match 42 due to the match serial line ups in fifa.com but fifa didnt indicate the round of 16 match nos on their site the last time I checked. This is how everytin goes... Quarter finals pairings: Winner44(Brazil-Uruguay) vs Winner 43(Portugal-New Zealand) Winner 37(Ghana-Mali) vs Winner 41(Germany-Nigeria) Winner 39(USA-Colombia) vs Winner 38 (Serbia-Hungary) Winner 42(Austria-Uzbehkistan) vs Winner 40(Ukraine-Senegal). My New take based on the above: Nigeria beats Germany, goes on to beat the african opposition in the quarter finals (likely to be Ghana or it just mite be mali...). In the semifinals, We'll meet one of serbia, hungary, usa, or colombia. NOW THIS IS INTERESTING COZ I CALCULATED BRAZIL BASED ON NIGERIA VS GERMANY BEING A 'MATCH 42' SECOND ROUND TIE. That was my mistake and I believe Sir Tbaba1234's prediction of a Nigeria vs Brazil final is what mite result eventually. In the final, WE CONQUER THE WORLD BY HUMBLING THE BRAZILIANS FOR GOOD (OR THE URUGUAYANS OR PORTUGUESE IF BRAZIL FALTERS). All in all, The Super Flying Eagles will eventually and inevitably emerge CHAMPIONS. This is for sure... *smiles* GO GO GO SUPER FLYING EAGLES! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! olapluto: |

enomakos: Sorry to jump in but my nephew is facing the same challenge. Learning is difficult for him and he is not talking. He is in a special school. We ran some test in a specialist hospital and the inner part of the ear seem the problem. Question: The teachers of the special school stopped him from using his hearing aid. They are training him with hand signs. Do you think it is okay for him or must we insist on the hearing aid? |

I had stated in an earlier post how Awoniyi's off the ball runs are invaluable! His angled run for the 1st goal is priceless! That kind of stuff isn't taught but in-born and is a sign of ingenuity. Please watch the build up to the goal again but keep your eyes on Awoniyi (not on the ball) to see what he did to unsettle the Hungarian defenders so as to get to the near post ahead of them! Did anyone also notice that he took those two goals exactly like Rashidi Yekini? I had a feeling of deja vu watching him ghost past the defender and round the keeper for the second. We've truly got a gem on our hands. Moses Simon also showed glimpses of what he can do in the few minutes he was on. I'm tipping him to be the only change in the starting lineup against Germany. He could start ahead of Bulbwa to keep the German defense line pegged! Kudos once again to Manu Garba and crew for giving Nigeria such a talented, balanced, young team. Many people forget that 70% of this team are still eligible for the next U20 world cup. So the likes of Chidera Eze, Nwakali, Alampasu, Alfa, who are not featuring now can still form the bedrock of the next Flying Eagles set. It's our turn to rule the world! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

linked:Anything short of a win against Germany? I would be disappointed because man for man the eagles have better quality. German youth teams usually struggle playing african teams... The reason is simple... RUGGEDNESS... With shear physical football this German team will be overwhelmed... They cant stand it... Thus the eagles should give the Germans no breathing space... Play them like real Africans while maintaining the total football philosophy... This simple technique will result in a sure win... Anyway.... #manuknowbest 1 Like |

enomakos:I read a lot. Once read this book where the character read lips to understand people. I usually think reading lips is a bit tasking. For instance, I talk pretty fast so I doubt reading my lips will be possible Were you born with it or it was accidental/gradual? Is it hereditary? Once again, apologies for the questions |

daveP:well, nice analogy you've got there just that Nacho might not be mature enough to stick to that Messi role. Yesterday,Luis Enrique's tactics was spot on,he knew all eyes would be on Messi and gave him a bit of withdrawn role. |
