@bbdd,my first attempt was this year spring january 6th 2015 and second attempt was june 2 2015 for fall, don't you think I can try one more in this fall considering fall session is August. Please reply?

When the VO asked you questions like "what will you study after your course" you could not answer.
Pharmacy is a very popular course and school places are filled quickly, by top grade students, and the VO will know this.
You need to do a lot more research ( use Google) to have answers for next time.
( Like what things or areas could you specialise in after graduation?)
I think that to get a scholarship it would be on merit, only to the very best top scoring students. So if you want this look to your grades. Otherwhise the fees will be high as this is a popular course with good earning potential worlwide.

Dear nairalanders. My time to apply for a U.S visa has come too. And i need some help. I have a lot of questions.
1. Please can anyone provide me with a summary of the process to apply for the visa. I've been filling my DS 160 online (not yet submitted) but im on the last page.
2. After that I learnt I should schedule my visa interview and pay my SEVIS fee through western union.
3. How do I pay for my visa interview. Can I pay in any bank. And for example say I pay on a monday, what is the earliest date of interview I can get.

IM APPLYING FOR A STUDENT F1 VISA. Thanks.

1. I don't understand what u mean by summary of the process to apply for Visa. Just make sure u take ur time in filling it. Don't be in a rush to submit.

2. You need to pay your SEVIS, and that can be done in Cotonu (Seme border) or som1 in United state help u wit d payment. U can't pay through Western union in Nigeria.

3. You can't pay ur Visa fee in any bank. Only in GTB, go to any GTB to do d payment. it cost #31,200. And if u pay on monday u should be able to get a date Btw 15th-26th of dis month.

My advice, try and pay ur sevis fee 1st, den u proceed wit ur DS-160, thereafter u book ur appointment. All d best

Akin,if your school is resuming on August as all fall semester starts, then I will advise you to book like July or June so you can prepare yourself for any contingency. As regards to scheduling for appointment, you must fill and submit your ds160. The ds160 bar code must match with your appointment confirmation barcode.

I'm not sure what "Investment Papers" mean...
Please know that funds in such accounts should be fluid and ready to go. Fixed deposit accounts and the likes are not accepted except they'll mature before you hit the embassy.

Don't give them reason(s) to deny you, a savings or current account is more like it.

Here's wishing you God's favour!
