Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Shawbabe: 7:10am On Jun 08, 2015 |
Hawttattoo: I was about to say too. $1000 is waaay too high for a pediatrician. Pls try and source one outside the hospital abeg. They're usually cheaper. If u start paying 1k dollars for a newborn now, how much them go charge when the pikin comes for follow up checkup at 1 week?? 1 Like |

Secondary inspection I was asked to wait in a room. Met 3 white people there. Mum also already panicking. Tolf her to calm down and just pray. My name was called after 20mins. I went to face another CBP. CBP- How are you today Me- am fyne. CBP- okay, you intend to have your baby here right, can i see the money you have on you. Me-Yes, gave him the money and he counted it. The money was short of 1k when he was done but i insisted he count it again as i was sure its wad $9500 i gave him. He did and confirmed it okay.He looked thru my papers again and then stamped my passport put the documents together and gave me my money. CBP- Enjoy your stay and have a safe delivery. Me- thank u. I stood there opened my passport and saw stamped in till Dec 06. Went to get our bags, no further checks so all i took with me scaled thru. Thank God and thank you to all those have have shared experiences. am just resting for now. Hospital tour starts tomorrow. 25 Likes |

Yes o! Quite high but that is the coy they use - Pediatrix; I am not sure you have a choice at least for those 2 days that will be spent in the hospital. After discharge you then choose a doctor for the baby. But overall, it is still a fair deal... Hawttattoo: 1 Like |

KayLayChi: Check @ shelly23 post on page 138 she already gave some kind of format which I intend to follow. I am yet to apply for the visa but I took out time to check out the process on their website. I believe you write the letters individually as opposed to signing one letter. I stand to be corrected though by those that already got their baby's visa |

bbaby84: @ shelly23 said she used two letters, one from her and one from her husband. So it could mean either way is ok, right? If it's going to be one letter signed by both parents how would the format be? And some of us are not here with our spouse so what do we do? For me I already have pre signed papers by my husband all I have to do is write the letter and that would be easier for me if it's written individually 1 Like |
