A lot of people aren't still happy with APC's victory in the presidential polls. They veer thier anger on anything buhari does. Leadership is not about being formally educated or having degrees left and right. If na so, then people like angela merkel, barack obama, david cameron, lee kuan yew, shinzo abe, etc would be nobel laureates. But they aint. If we think Nigeria doesnt need external help, maybe we need to think again. No country progresses well without external support or assistance. From china to US to germany. Google it. We need all the help we can get from outside. I implore us to keep our sentiments aside and be true patriots for the posterity of Nigeria. Buhari being invited to attend G7 meeting is a big plus. It means the most industrialized nations have interest in partnering with Nigeria or rendering assistance in whatever capacity.(even when it is bilateral). Let him go and go to more if invited. We are in a deep economic mess and under serious security challenges. We need help! 2 Likes |

onatisi: Of what benefit is the Secretary to the government to you? Are u a civil servant what is the benefit of head of service tob you? The national assembly has bot been inaugurated so will you confirm the ministers? You guys are just blind critics and you are unhappy because buhari has not appointed ministers not because you like nigeria but because you want to continuebchatacter assassination and right now you have run out of targets experience should show you and tell you that this kind of talk doesn't help |

MuhdG: Just one week And you are complaining already. Just take a chill pill because it's a four years program. This administration will suffer a full social media attack for even a wind that will blow. They were once one the other side. The tables have turned. The accuser has now become the accused Politricks is sweet for every side just that from the opposition, you don't have any slandered of performance you must meet up with. |

In as much as I would refrain from being overly aggressive and impolite, I think that given the state of the country, the president should be home identifying with the people's clamor for security and letting them feel him than this present lacuna he is creating. And to think he has no active role to play there but sit in the audience as 'guest'? Make I siddon look because to some people here, once you do not go in tandem with their line of reasoning, you must be opposition. |

nortcentrallord:the issue isn't even about opposition or not but been up to the task. This nation is waging a war against terror and we need a leader who can stand up to it. Most of those supporting buhari on this thread are all commenting from the comfort of their homes in a safe state ,if they are in the bh ravage areas and have seen their children ,wives been slaughtered by having their throats slits or bombed to pieces ,they won't be saying the rubbish they are saying that we should give buhari time, the simple common sense question they should answer is ,is boko haram giving nigerians and nigeria time to rest? What about workers who have been unpaid,is hunger giving anybody time to rest? Buhari should know nigeria is at a very very critical point and there is no time to be travelling around like psquare. The nation needs direction and orders from the number 1 man . Each time a terrorist attack or even a shooting happens in usa ,obama always makes a statement condemning the attacks and giving americans encouragement to stand up and resist such evils, but in the case of buhari, immediately after bomb blasts ,he just enters the plane and jets out .the bitter truth is buhari has no idea how to tackle nigeria problems 1 Like 1 Share |

Trunaijian: Well said. Am really disappointed at the level of comprehension of loads of people on this forum. Bias or sentiments is what I see most in most comments about this issue. For me it's a good start for Buhari. Remember he got this invitation to attend the G7 summit before he was president. A sign of good international relations to come. David Cameron of UK even urged Buhari to come with a wish list. Nigeria is rebooting from hibernation. So tell me one reason why should not go. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. 2 Likes |

onatisi: When Nigerians would have allowed that man to debate so we can know if truly he has identified the problem of the country and has a plan to tackle and eradicate it, his supporters were saying No no. What kind of a politician who knows how to sell himself to his people and win votes not come out in such opportunity granted him. Truth is, the man still lives in the 70's. God help Nigeria. |
