Generalj1, I have been following this post since. I dare say that I am inspired by you. I love dogs. I hope to have some dogs myself one day, however I am still in school now. I am would be graduating in another 6 weeks though. I hope one day, when I have some money, I can call on you.... To the people I offended by my earlier post, I apologize. Like I said before, I use Gokeyboard with T9 and swipe active. Sometimes, I do make mistakes and don't usually proof read. I beg you not to judge me on that note. ElPhoche:. nothing makes me happy like someone i know can take care of dogs and loves dogs. i have mated my 2 rotts, gsd and most importantly my boerboel. hopefully by july ending, i should be expecting some puppies from these bitches. by all means, when u finish from school, settle down and get a place and how to care for your dog then call me. i should have a dog for you puppy or adult. forget how much you have....if am convinced that you can talk good care of your dog..i will give you a dog..puppy or adult. in as much as I would love to make money from my dogs, I cherish the happiness in people when they acquire a new pet and i will love to be responsible for such smile. enjoy your final moment in school and have a safe journey back home 180 Likes 9 Shares |

@Omololu007. i would be lying to you if i say they dont fight once in a while but not deadly fights. the thing is I raised all of them together from puppies and they all grew up together. usually, the things that cause fight are food and toys. my rule is..i feed them all together in a single large stainless tray...if any dog growls or attempt to bully the next dog...the dogs is immediately sent back to the cage...so they all know the rule. the funny thing is, some of them are not as voracious as the others especially the Rotts..so usually you will see my husky attempting to take a chicken drumstick back to her cage to come back and eat just indomie slowly while the boerboel just keep eating anything. summary, spend time with them, notice whatever triggers aggression, and step in firmly without violence. 2ndly, dont leave them unsupervised especially overnight. games like chasing and killing rodents can trigger fight. 41 Likes 1 Share |

I personally just love pets..dogs especially. where do you stay and how ready are you? if i am convinced that you have the means and time to take care of a dog...why not. lol i have mated 4 of my dogs now about 2 to 3 weeks ago...(2 rotts, 1 gsd and 1 south african boerboel)..will let you know when they start whelping. you can come get as much as possible gsd as you want |

generalj1:I stay in Abeokuta and hell, I can take good care of a GSD. And if you're really serious that price is not an issue then I can assure you that your dog will be well taken care of. Bro. If your dog's litter can you take care of them @ once. My boerboel had 10 puppies and it was an exhausting day and night supervision for them. Proud to say I didn't loose even one puppy but doing that for 2 or 3 dams can kill someone. Especially if they are 1st time mums. Be ready sha 3 Likes |

Regarding the general tray feeding, it is highly unadviseable.( lol @ d word) Things may go on well till one day, one of Ur dogs is very hungry and ill tempered. It may attack others that come near the food. Believe me I have seen this in puppies, and adults that have co existed for years. In fact I had to separate a fight that would have turned deadly if I wasn't there. A frnd has also lost a dog like that |

@Younglawya.... trust me..my dogs dont eat unsupervised . as a matter of policy...any dog dat as little as growl at the next dog is going off the food and they all know that. some get carried away and growl and the next thing you hear is I call your name and say...INSIDE!!!... you need to see the remorse and regret on the face as the dog is reluctantly going back to his or her room. the other funny thing is some will like to be smart....join the food galore (around 3 big size stanless trays placed beside each other and 2 buckets of clean water)...pick chicken or meat and take them back to their rooms and return to continue which the remaining fish mixed with indomie... i only allow that to fly my husky as she is not a voracious eater like d rest. if others try it... i will allow them to finish with the rest..while they are still eating..i will go and bring the starched meat or chicken back to the tray.  its funny and interesting when you have multiple dogs with different breeds and temperaments. 49 Likes 4 Shares |

younglawya: tru talk . i had 11 rott puppies and 4 GSD puppies at the same time november last year... it was fun for my family..i had 1 househelp then and my wife just got back as well. we didnt loose anyone as well....both first time mothers they were all 6 weeks old before xmas when my wife had to travel and my househelp too needed to go to her family for holiday.. hence I had to gave them out..since i couldnt feed them myself...work things.. now am expecting 4 bitches to whelp almost same too this time..my wife is back...i have 2 house helps and i will stay back to help till 6:50 am every morning before going to work.7 Likes |
