@ shelly23 said she used two letters, one from her and one from her husband. So it could mean either way is ok, right?
If it's going to be one letter signed by both parents how would the format be? And some of us are not here with our spouse so what do we do? For me I already have pre signed papers by my husband all I have to do is write the letter and that would be easier for me if it's written individually

For my first my husband wasn't with me I emailed him the letter and he signed. He then scanned it back to me and I signed. He was there for my second. When you get to the format bridge , whoever is helping you get the visa will help you cross it. It's a simple letter and you're given a format.
Stop stressing everything usually falls in place at the end of the day.

Asking your question there is fine with me cos its more to do with "health and wellbeing " than just travel but I asked to bring questions here so that "uninterested" parties will not feel one "kain", you understand how most people are nah.

Hey y'all, just a little info for our moms doing a return trip for vacation or whatever with your american pikin, expect questions as to why you gave birth in the US once they sight that blue passport. In my opinion, JFK was the most straight forward and stress free POE, no papers or docs asked for, as long as you tell the TRUTH and just hold on to your paid bills etc, just incase they decide not to take your word for it.

Hi everyone,
I'm super new to all this but just reading one or two post I feel so informed. Thanks everyone.
I need some advice, Im due August and planing to go for my interview last week in June. What bothers me is that I'm using doctor Fagbohun who is in Houston and I have family in Dallas. From reading through i'm guessing I have to get like a hotel some weeks before my due date...
How do I present this when interviewed?
Also, im just recently married and my passport is still in my maiden name, will this be a problem?

If anyone is going for an interview this month let us plan together please...i feel so lost..lol

Well said! please travel with your receipts and zero balance as I was asked for mine during my last trip April this year. Hubby and I went without the kids, I was asked why I stayed 3 months last year which I answered childbirth. Hubby was about to bring out receipts/zero balance from his bag when the guy smiled and said 'I can see you paid for all services' then he took our fingerprints and stamped us in.
All the best all...

If you have not committed your Dr, you are free to change your doctor when you get there. Also tell the VO the truth that u want to stay in Dallas and have your babe in Houston. I also travelling to Dallas by October.

The most important thing is for you to pay all ur bills without any aid and also Doctors and hospital correspondence. You can tell the VO of ur accommodation verbally.

The infant seat is backwards facing and is the first car seat a child should use

The convertible is forward facing and should be used after the child has outgrown the infant seat

No hospital in the USA will discharge you without an infant seat

It's up to you if you want to check it in, if it's a travel set with your stroller and you have a lay over I will advice you don't check it in. It will be collected at the gate if the plane and given to you when you land

Some convertible car seats are both forward and backward facing. The only problem is it has to remain in the car as its big and can't be carried around. If you don't plan to carry baby around in the car seat then get a convertible one as baby would use it for a longer.

No dear not all convertible car sets are forward facing only. Mine 4 example (graco 4ever all-in-one) is used from newborn to toddler stage. Thus can be rare facing until my son is 2yrs and then forward facing afterwards and also converted to toddler seat from 4/5yrs. And yes hospitals will discharge u with convertible car seat as long as it meets d requirements eg has rear facing option for infants

Most convertible car seats are bulky and heavy. Also the reasons most people prefer d infant car sear first because it's easier to use. U can leave d base in d car and carry only d car seat out with ur baby strapped. I feel it's most convenient especially if d baby Is sleeping. But for convertible car seats u ll av to go tru d stress of removin d baby from the car seat and it doesn't come with base.

Also, infant car seat can be attached to a matching stroller for those that want stroller unlike convertible car seat that can't be attached to a stroller.

Personally, I chose convertible car seat from birth because my son is very tall. He is less than a year old and infant car seat is too small for him already. I felt why spend money twice on car seat when I cud buy only once.

In addition to what av be said u can check ur car seat in at d check-in counter or at d door of d plane. But if u r using a stroller with it, I ll advice u check d car seat in at d check-in counter and put ur baby in a stroller then check d stroller in at d door of d plane. Pls if u r getting a stroller get d one with atleast 3 reclining position so u cud lay ur baby down and not sit down after d car seat has been checked-in.
