My friend, go to Travel lodge website and book their London hotels they are the most cheapest you can get. They also have hotels around Tower Bridge, Stratford , Blackfriars, Aldgate, Kings Cross, etc which are in Central London (apart from Stratford).

Get a proper convincing travel itinerary. E.g.
Day 1: Taking the Big Bus Tour around London
Day 2: Visiting Westminster- House of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Change of Horse Guards,etc
Day 3: Visiting London Eye, London Acquarium and taking a Cruise across River Thames.
Day 4: Museum day- visiting Natural History Museum, Science Museum, etc
Day 5: Checking out Demons at the London Dungeon
Day 6: Shopping day : Shopping at Liverpool Street Market, East Street market , Oxford Circus, Westfield Shopping Centre. Window shopping at Harrods and Selfridges.
Day 7: Visit the Tate Modem Art Gallery, strolling by the Embarkment, locating Trafalgar Square. Jermyn Street is close by , so include shopping at TM Lewin, Hewes and Curtis and Savile Row tailors.
Day 8: Visiting Nigerian restaurants- 805, Wazobia Restaurant and Calabar Kitchen ( all along Old Kent Road).
Day 9: A visit to Emirates stadium ,etc

This is how a proper traveling itinerary looks like( no need to add visiting London Underground, lol).

Day 5 was only tongue-in-cheek, you can remove the Demons there.

At least you pay some sort of tax, like I said before it all down to how good you put this down in your application form, explaining clarify how you run your business and also remember that you are likely to be called for an interview so you will use that opportunity to clarify things.

Bro I also run my business from my personal acct and pay individual tax ...I've applied twice and gotten the visa on both occasions ...just add receipts invoices etc that correlate wit heavy deposits in ur acct also give as much explanation as u can in d additional info box

Hi guys,
please help....
My partner in desperation to get UK visa to come and see me went to get some advice and stupidly was advised to say that he was married in Nigeria and that he had a child. The guy advising him said this was the only way to get a visa as proof of his return to Nigeria.
I am so angry with him as visa was refused anyway and now what to do?
We want to get married, probably in Nigeria and then reapply for a spouse visa.
I told him he has to tell the truth that he was not married but he is terrified that if he admits he lied, that they will ban him for 10yrs.
An immigration lawyer is advising him to continue with the lie and get a 'divorce' certificate.
I don't like the idea of this and think he should just come clean.
If we get married, will this lie stop him from coming the the UK?

That is why I have presented the case here and need an advice, I am not hell-bent on going there for my vacation but if I stand a chance to be issued then I will want to know. The fact that my account balance is now 1.1m from 910k + my cost available for the trip is now 1,100GBP instead of 1,800GBP i put before, is that not enough significant change? I just need your take and advise if to go on or drop it, and if to go on what can I do to increase my chances of being granted the visa.

Obviously the lies wouldn't help the situation but getting married is the right thing to do. Listen to the immigration lawyer at your own peril.

Yes you are right he needs to come out clean and stop the chain of lies.

He should stick to the truth and explain that he got wrong advice.

Lying about a divorce then producing take certificate then a 'fake' child since that was part of the lie. He would then say he's married to you and prove your relationship which would have been ongoing whilst he was supposedly married. Its a slippery slope. Too many lies to cover up.

Sounds like he was desperate to get of Nigeria not to see you. What was the rush you could have visited him and spousal visa be done.

They know he lied and he may already have the ban.

When you guys get married officially then he can address the lie in the spousal application.

I understand where you are coming from, the only major expenditure here is the £750 flight money.

Its 50/50 situation, you can reapply and explain that your friend will be accommodating you and that the trip will only cost you the £750 for the ticket.

Your friend has to include the same statement in his letter and attach data page of his passport and proof of accommodation..e.g tenancy agreement or mortgage paper.

There is nothing like health treatment visa, the 2years visa your friend has is more than enough for the treatment however, he needs to make an arrangement with a private hospital in the UK, pay the deposit and have the remaining money PLUS additional money for accommodation, feeding and transport. He needs to show that at the POE if asked.

The standard visa covers private medical treatment visitor visa

One more thing, please my sister is inviting me and she can't seems to find her tenancy agreement but she said her utility bill will serve the same purpose. She also said they should have it on record becos she has invited my mum last year. Please is it wise to go ahead and use d utility bill witout d tenancy agreement?
