Hello mamas, trust we are all doing fine. Please, is it okay for a 6-month old to take cheese balls?

Also, this giving of yoghurt to babies (over 6 months old), is it the normal sweet yoghurt one sees everywhere or is there a special one for babies? Thanks.
I saw a mother giving her 5 month old cheese balls. To worsen it I also saw her give fruit bread and capri sonne. To me it is nt good
For the yoghurt der r those for babies. I hv seen it in big baby shops

Good evening mamas, how are we & los, hope they're cooperating grin, may God be with us all.

Please mamas, i have observed my six wks old son and i discovered that when breastfeeding or formular feeding him he makes some kind kind of queer noise, then stretches his body & cry as if in pains then discontinue feeding, then resumes feeding again & does same thing over & over again until he finish feeding. I'm just wondering cos i didnt really experience this with my first who's a female. Could this be the colic we always talk about? Is it a male thing? Cos i never experience such with my dd

Put ice water on it @ intervals. A pure water that is cold. Not ice block. Do not place it on a spot for too long. Just rub it on the spot for about 30 seconds remove and apply again.

@ birth she weighed 3kg,@ our 10;wks immunization appointment she weighed 5kg. I don't know her present weight now. my frnd asked me to introduce formula so she would be big. BT I'm just lukin @ d advantage of breastfeeding my baby for d first 6 months.

Not all babies are big. My baby started formula at 8 weeks. He eats like eh... Now, He finishes 1kg Cerelac plus NAN in 7 days, yet, he is small.

Some people say SMA makes babies fat. You can give it a trial.

Hi dear, like tchiwinnie said it's colic. He will outgrow it by 3months atmost. But u ll av to be patient. Some pple might advice u give colicky gripe water to help but if u can be patient enough he ll soon outgrow it

Hello dear, that's bcg spot. We were told in d hospital not to do anything to d bcg spot no matter what happens except there is pus comin out. That clean it lightly with a tissue or cotton wool and flush d cotton wool/tissue. Wash ur hands afterwards. Anything other than that do no do anything. If it's not makin ur baby uncomfortable then let it be dear.

I guess it's the weather. My son had catarrh and cough for 2weeks + it was not easy for him. I give him vit C daily, I used eucalyptus oil inside water for him to inhale but no improvement. I took him to see a paediatrician, a full blood count test was done and nothing was wrong with him. D paediatrician told me not to give anything aside d vit c and that his immune system is suppose to fight it and I should be patient. He also prescribed Otrivine nasal drops and cough syrup. I used both for 7days and stopped. D catarrh lingered on for 2weeks and left on its own. It wasn't easy watching him breath tru his mouth but I followed d docs advice.

Pls my princess has cattarh. What do I do. Am tired of ppl nt having common sense. U hv cattarh nd u keep coming to d house where der is a baby. U hv cattarh u want to carry baby. Ppl in this country shld try nd hv small sense now. If u refuse to allow dem carry baby u don turn enemy. Gaskiya I de vex.
Pls wat can I do for her o.

Sorry dear, d lord I ur strength. Pls try nd give d drugs separately. Although d cold might be causing d vomiting coss d catarrh is in d throat thereby irritating anything that tries to pass it. I kno vit c is daily so when it's time to administer it, u can give paracetamol 1st and give vit c like 30mins later. Also try to be putting little drops into their mouth until it finishes (I mean d dosage). I use capol paracetamol cos I notice it's sweet unlike emzor. I use syringe applicator as against d cup that come with most medicine. Don't worry they ll be fine by God's grace

I think it's strong bones that my baby has because he isn't that chubby too but the weigh has been making me think he is obese in the making.

Since her mouth is closed then it won't be that difficult na. My son's mouth was virtually oppened tru out. It's not easy to just watch so I can imagine. But don't worry it will pass.
