Has The SW Made The Wrong Move? ( Part 2) by Nobody: 8:46am On Jun 10, 2015 |
Its clear that the current political undertone has become a reality of my last prediction on this issue. Even as then, I raised certain questions on why SW (APC) won't reach out to the PDP SS and SE as their other colleagues were doing. It was clear that the old Roman politics was at play yet they neglected this whether by guilty conscience or over confidence I do not know. Now the question is what happens next? Jagaban and other SW APC supporters have finally found themselves in an odd position, the north will always be north. As time goes, more problems will arise , you can't betray the trust of team and don't expect the consequences. There is still time, SW should be with the SS and SE, this is the balance created to stabilize our polity system. There is no need of these grudges between SW and other southerners , if they don't act fast SE and SS will continue consolidate with the north at the loss of the SW. The truth is this , so long as the oil remains in the SS, the north will do everything to be in good terms with them and so long as IBO continues to control the bazaar market in this country and with their resilient attitude, the north will always see them as a more stable friend. My candid advice is that in as much as the SW APC sees Tinubu as a great Hero, its time to displace him if they want to remain intact cause he's now been seen as trouble both in the north and by other southerners. More dramas will continue to unfold till 2019, if men like kwanswo , wammako , atiku, yerima will support saraki and dogara in this act then you must start guessing what will happen in 2019. My bet is that someone is planning on running for 2019 in place of buhari who will be seen as old by then and also considering his Statement of doing only one term. Share your opinions |

SW never learn. U don't dine with d crocodile. This is what happened to awolowo when he decided to pitch tent with d north, they got what they wanted from him and discarded him which led to his commiting suicide. Now d north again used tinubu to get what they wanted and they have got it and r gradually discarding tinubu(hope he doesn't commit suicide too). My question to our yoruba brothers is this, have the north ever supported any yoruba, look what they did to abiola, diya, obasanjo, kudirat, awolowo but still u decided to vote them into power again. Why? We r one south but u have chosen to always sell urselves to the north. 9 Likes |

Today we have a vice president, who is just like a chaff before the wind.Just like a foil being tossed about by sea wind. Yes,visionless and directionless, like ship adrift due to ocean wave. I laugh in Zungeru. 5 Likes |

Some people always say that they don't care about personalities or regional politics but just good governance. I used to believe that school of thought but its very obvious that Nigeria has a unique polity system which can never benefit without stablility in the regional polity. Without this stability in the regional poilitcs, no matter who the personality is , we can never have a united government. |

I don't buy the idea u spew and will never take to it. Yoruba re ever sophisticated in their dealing and will always be. Forget the issue of Tinubu's control of yoruba cos it is just a coincidence. We don't play politics at the expense of our well being. Perform then u get our backing. The only grace tinubu has is his performance in Lagos and that of his protege. Yoruba will never throw away excellence at the expense of mediocrity. The issue of alliance with south east is out of it cos yoruba see them as too desperate to relate with. As well, our politics differ in every dimension. Relegate yoruba at ur peril and that is number one mistake jonathan made. Tell me any tangible project he completed in eight years of his government in yoruba land. We know what we want and we go for it. Shikena |

These kind of threads are too late, let every region and man play the hands they are dealt. The level of distrust in the south is not reversible. 2015 changed things forever. |
