I predicted it yesterday: all through his stay in that seat he would be restless and he has awoken the tigers in everyone including PMB who must now see the grave implications of Saraki/ekweremadu's emergence on not just the perceptions of his govt but on his policy goals and implementations.
Saraki's emergence and the manner of it must be corrected.
The only good thing from this is that it shows PMB/APC true party members and the necessity to start asserting their authority/party discipline early on.

I was responding in the same manner to an acclaimed APC supporter today.
PMB is responsible for the absurd situation we had in the senate yesterday and he now has to come out to correct it,whichever way he wants;that's his damn biz!!
He is the president and there is no way he should allow a minority party get to control the senate by having a deputy SP.
Already, Saraki'/ekweremadu's emergence has dealth a perception blow on PMB anti corruption stance.

Atiku is as delusional as Saraki. They believe they have a right to power at all cost. He is still pained that he did not win the presidential mandate in APC. That's why he dsponsored this move against Buhari and supposedly Tinubu. He is still ashamed for coming last in the presidential primaries.

APC is not in disarray! They were betrayed by trusted Party members! It is still a learning curve for them. What matters now, is how they quickly regroup and launch a counter attack by expelling the 'rebels' and damn the consequences or else they are finished!

Its really not about Saraki but the other APC senators in Saraki's camp from the look of thing Saraki has Absolute majority in the senate all thoes that appeared yesterday for the election of both the SP and DSP are all in the same camp. The so called APC loyalist in the senate are just about 33 which can not even form a quorum. My advise is for APC to manage this internally expelling Saraki will just compound the woes of APC.

Firstly, David mark was not given any post, he was just respected as a senior senator(leader) as sign of respect. Secondly, why would the party leadership of APC call a meeting with the president when the president had already given a letter to the clerk of the house to carry on with activity by 10am yesterday. APC made a very big mistake and if they want to continue with this tone they would destroy what they had built. But i really loved what happened yesterday.

1. Saraki can't be expelled like that, you need 2/3 majority[what APC doesn' have]
2. Saraki can't leave APC- a new supreme Court judgment just stripped a member of the house who left his party so don't hope to see that many defections again.
3. Buhari isn't showing any sign of weakness, he Promised from day 1 not to interfere with the NA.
3. The NA isn't aggrieved and I don't see how Saraki leading the Senate will stop PMB from implementing whatever plans he has for Nigerians
4.PDP is a political party so just like APC they want power

if you expel a senate president that was elected by an opposition party(PDP) from your party what is next? you give him the legal grounds as stated in the Law to move(decamp) to the opposition thereby ruling openly against your party bills/policies and on the other hand makes the PDP a majority in the senate meaning your executive is in deep shieet cos same way he was elected you cant impeach him not a god decision from my point of view.
