akinnawou: For PTE, if you have 65 points in all 4 sections = 10 points (proficient english) if you have 79 points in all 4 sections = 20 points (superior english) However, the minimum requirement for PR is 50 points in all sections = 0 points (competent english) You get 5 points for State sponsorship subclass 190 |

timikenzo2: If yours is SVP u will get it in less than 3 months. For deferring you have to contact your school. write a mail to the email that sent you your CoE or Call them to defer. But i suggest you go ahead and apply, It might work out, You never know. |

hello house, due to my circumstance, i have been finding it difficult taking a decision on my Australia travel arrangements. I can raise money for my 1 year studies but not sure of the second year except i work. I'm also new in the oil and gas industry and will also like to advance a little on my career before moving over to Australia but i'm afraid the visa laws may get tougher by then. I had considered given up on my career for Australia but i'm always very reluctant as i haven't got enough experience that will make it easier for me to come back to the industry after studies. Just recently, i thought of getting married to my girlfriend and sending her to study while i retain my work. This idea seems to be the best i can think of right now because i can continue with my work here, and also i'll have access to credit facility in case things get bad. I can also visit her during my field breaks. But my question is if i enrol her into svp and both of us need to apply for the visa, will they demand for my account statement which will need to show sufficient money for the both of us? Is it feasible she works and cater for her up keep while i take care of her school fees only? What type of visa will they grant me and what are the provision of such visa? |

ugsams: To cut ur long story short u want to work alittle and gather enuf money before leaving Naija. Cool Yes u can do svp for ur wife. You will apply as her dependent wether or not u leave the country together. (This will help u be able to get visiting visa with ease because u are regconised) Yes u will need to fill a declaration of funds form(or sometin like that). This form will be given to u by the school u are planning to aply to for her. Yes u should be able to declare enuf money for her fees. When u are visiting, with her there u won't have difficulties as per statement of acct. Yes she can work and study and if she na "manager" she will be able t take care of her small small needs while u take care of tuition. |

mrnilobrawn: Let me explain better. I never put it through to them that I have served. I only had my B.Eng result last year june. I didn't include anything as regards to service. I stated in my CV that I av been working since I graduated. in an IT company. I even included a reference letter from the IT company and is actually my cousins company. Sincerely speaking I am currently serving in delta state. So I never stated anything as regards to my service because I new I would still be in service den. That is the may dikoko.
