[size=13pt]No ! No ! No !

What has been posted here many times is SAAF Gripen jet targeting pods for guided bombs called LIGHTENING, purchased from America, NOBODY has EVER named any Gripen Recce pod for SAAF, because you have NONE tongue tongue tongue

SAAF Gripen jets = ZERO capability for ISTAR.

You CANNOT fool us here !

HUMBLE PIE FOR YOU AGAIN

DIGITAL JOINT RECONNAISSANCE POD (DJRP)

Easily integrated onto any air platform, the DJRP is a robust, lightweight, low drag structure with a combat proven pedigree on numerous aircraft types including Jaguar, Tornado, Harrier and Hawk and has been selected by the South African Air Force for Gripen.

What is the range of your Recce pods? NAF has over 300 km range ISTAR radars

What is it's max altitude since it is only a medium / low altitude equipment .....limited capability

What is the patrol endurance hours of Gripen? It was doing about 30 minutes in Libya, NAF does 7 hours.

Your Gripen is NOT ELINT capable.

What are the electronic support systems and computer network console data processing capacity ? See NAF below, show us your SAAF !

.
Maritime surveillance radar.

Link ZA, nothing to show it is operational. Provide citations proving the entire system is operational or has been used in actual service.

That Nigeria's Data link is fully integrated isn't in doubt. We have and continue to see it's operational use.

The entire program in Nigeria is called, Network Enabled Capabilities (NEC), or Network Enabled Combat Capabilities.

LINK ZA is fully operational as in 100% young boy. All the SANDF frigates, Subs, fighter jets, gunships and all are now fully integrated into the system which the NATO countries refused to sell to us as they seek monopoly to the system. Little did they know that SA has brilliant engineers who can develop their indigenous data link system.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has zero data link as you have failed several times to give us the name of data link that Nigeria uses and where was it acquired.

1. Citation needed
2. What is Libya?

Libya is a place where NATO air forces executed a SEAD before Gripen could safely do Recce, 5% of the total Recce work.....America, Britain, etc did the real job in Libya.

Gripen jet Recce pod can only work at medium/low altitude where enemy air defenses will roast it for dinner

Gripens can do ground search 70 km away detecting any threats.

ATR-42 will do ground search radar up to 330 km, so NAF is 100 times more powerful in ISTAR role

Was Boko Haram desert war theater a maritime battle? NAF used ATR-42 to watch Boko Haram inside their bush toilet and gave their coordinates by datalink to our helicopters and artillery.

Surface search radar = ground + maritime = ATR-42 ISTAR power.

NAF is 66 years ahead of SAAF.

Wrong (X). There is no such thing as low capacity recce. The recce pods are there to perform ISTAR operations 100% as ATR-42 would.

Show us the integrated multiple computer systems console of your Super Lynx helicopter used for large scale data processing, battle space command and control......and post how many hours your helicopter will fly....after abandoning the Valour frigate....or your navy warships sail inside desert ?

Odenson , Olodo, South Africa has NO dedicated ISTAR aircraft cheesycheesy

Now that SANDF has operational spy satellite it can perform all that is mentioned here with its thales recce pods and with better extended range.

Yet it does not mean SANDF cannot do ISTAR operations. Bwahahaha…

Meanwhile, NAF is 150 years behind SANDF with data link system.
