I see Nigeria winning this. They were able to hold down the 0-1 score line to half time with absence of our key players. 2nd half, they will more time to regroup nd rebounce themselves

Manu will lose and win this game. Im not a coach but this is pretty simple. Why try to pass and play out from defence when the opponent is doubling up on you. We ve given so much respect to the Germans but do the simple things. If u plan long balls just long it. But I think that this nigeria team has skillful players that can make germans look around there shoulders. Right now there's no bother for them. I would get Moses and Nacho in.

Absolutely spot on.

the best way to play against a high pressing team is to be compact in midfield and hit them with quick counters. Counter- attacks that will leave them dazed and confused. Am sure manu garba has watched their videos so he will prepare for them well.

Xlad:
Manu Garba is the coach. but for me, I will still say it again, Bulbwa and Saviour are not good for counter attack. no need running with the ball for so long time. The two should watch how Yahaya, Awoniyi and Iheanacho do partner perfectly together anytime they are on counter attack.. That aspect i think manu garba made the 3 to be extra perfect. everyone knows what they other is about to do and positions himself good to receive the pass.. They did it against Iran, they did it against Iraq, against Uruguay, and the finals against mexico. The three did it perfectly against brazil which resulted to their 2-1 lead...
Garba please try to avoid those useless long balls. Your philosophy during the U-17 wasn't based on long ball rather short passes... The long ball is not working.... We are yet to see the impact of your long ball.

Goodluck F.E.. go make us proud.

and when that team that conquered the world and understands themselves better is sub because of ur in lnclusion of the big the people mentioned it just doesn't make sense, yea we won against the Hungary team but no one enjoyed watching that team ....

there was no time we had issues with enjoying the football played by the nwakali set, we just not doing what we needed to do....... enaholo inclusion is baseless, alampasu is still better, success should have been in this team , nwakili is beeter than his replacement, okay whoever replaced Samuel okon at left back isn't better either, can't remember who played right back buh that nigga is better ... and all the aforementioned players would have influenced this game...... yahaya ,,,,ihenacho my brother I don't know if u watched the team so far ...team play hasn't been our strongest point...... the boys he replaced well that team should have been developed not substituted......

Those boys were good at U17. Bt this is U20. This is a much more competitive level where 19 & 20 yrs olds hu are already senior team professionals feature.
All those Iheanacho, Nwakali, Yahaya, Alampasu, Ezeh that u mentioned are jst academy/ cadet players. Sorry they cant compete at this level.

We can represent Yahaya, Nacho, Awoniyi and co for d next U20. They will still b within d age grade and by den would have gained more experience.
