Look at how technical akpoguma is?
That is the work of good football upbringing.
Give him to Nigerian coaches and they will ruin him.
Give iheanacho to german coaches and you will get a goetze.
on point

I wasn't wrong afterall!!!

Johniyke2flex:
After scoring 16 goals in 3 matches...I dnt see how the flying eagles will escape the German hammer in dis match. Nah! Not with that defence and certainly not with that keeper! Its nice to be patriotic though, but its far better to be realistic.

I'll be happy to be wrong on this one.

It's obvious we are deficient at the under 20 and senior levels.
We should keep winning our under 17. What a shame
I think it's high time we tried foreign coaches at our under 20 and senior levels. Our technical know how at this level calls for worries.

If you know you are going out. By the 80th minute you throw everything you have at your opponents. For goodness sake FIFA gives you 3 subs. Use all of them. Why fear losing by three goals. Go for it. Emma Babayaro is right. They did not play to win. They played not to lose.

Yes, but at the end of the day it is still a developmental tournament. All the U-17 trophies we have won as not done anything for us. Let us win the senior FIFA world cup and be a dominant force in world fotball, then we can talk. I have seen some promising players here who have the potential to replace the bunch of Super Eagles we have. I'm satisfied. You can choose to cry and lament and groan in agony if you like. Good luck with that.

Word! As far as I'm concerned, we have the players. The volume of the technical ability of our coaches is wayyyy down!

Nonsense and useless bad belle gossip.
Iheanacho isn't just the best, but he also has the brightest future among them all. He is a Man City player and has been given a work permit against all odds. Let's see how many of the other players will be signed by EPL clubs let alone get a work permit
Iheanacho can go and rest now and refresh himself ahead of Man City's pre-season tour. Bright future. Bad belle people can continue to writh in pain.

Though I did not see the match, but with all the comments here, it shows that it was such a disappointment game. The coach need to be relieved of his job. Not that we cannot be beaten, but we deserve to put up a good fight.

Anyway, now that Niger is out, one can now continue watching the other teams with rest of mind.

It's not the loss that is painful but the manner in which they lost .

Its so annoying because the team could have done better and played to their full strenght like the Germans. But Malu deliberately sabotaged the match.

Did anybody see that flop of a GK as he mangled his hands to gift the Germans their only goal?

But wait!

After that first game vs Brazil, didn't the GK flop? Alongside Iheanacho and co.

But guess what!

Iheanacho never played again except as an 80th min sub in dia last grp game. He kept playing dat flop GK. I wonder what came over the coach. He had too many defense unlockers and he simply kept them glued to d bench even while loosing by a goal. Chai! He shuld have thrown them in even if he loses, he'd hv justified himself.

Ewooooo!!!
Technical deficiency egbuola coachi anyi.
