Politics in football killed us..Manu just wanna make this bunch of talented guys waste..You don't bench ur best legs.Imagine him bringing in Nwakali a defensive midfielder when we were looking for an equaliser

smart defending
slow decision making and inability to shield the ball in flight .
a stronger and faster forward would have buried the chance . i dnt really blame him though, the team didnt play to his strengths.

Chai.Shots on goal TOO LOW.Manu Garba, you have put your pride before the feelings of Nigerians.

Of all the teams that qualified,Nigeria had the best attacking squad.Yet we had nothing to show for.

This is the beginning of the end of your career. Why couldnt you start with the best 11?Wicked Man!

What a logical conclusion
This same german team defeated us in 2009 at this same stag, Or what was our position in 2011 and 2013 under Goodluck?

Look at how technical akpoguma is? That is the work of good football upbringing. Give him to Nigerian coaches and they will ruin him. Give iheanacho to german coaches and you will get a goetze.
or a Barcelona side ........ as MESSI

Abi den fix dis match ni??...fixing can come in many ways. e.g benching ur best leg in an important match....its such a shame....even the german couldnt score more dan one....if d germans were so superior dey shd av scored more dan 1....and if nigeria had had a better coach we wud av bn able to survive dis german team

YOU ARE RIGHT.... OUR COACHES ARE JUST CUT AND NAIL IN THINGS THAT HAS TO DO WITH REASONING IN FOOTBALL.
THE GAME SHOULD HAVE ENDED 0-0 BECAUSE THE GERMANS AREN´T BIG ENOUGH FOR OUR DIFFENCE

The sad fact is that Iheanacho, yahaya and all the best boys from the U17 side went abroad with the wrong focus. They were more interested in signing for big sides than continuing their development by playing week in/week out.
They proved in the first game that they are not match fit. What is more, it is now doubtful if they can break into their club first 11s. If you cant bench Taiwo Awoniyi is it Aguero you will bench?

Their parents were practically begged by soccer analysts all over nigeria to settle for small sides where they can get game time and grow, but they rushed to Spurs and man City were even the likes of Dzeko and Adebayo are warming the bench. I wish them luck, but sincerely i am not hopeful.

Who tell you say Iheanacho & Yahaya doesn't play week in week out. he plays for they both play for the youth team of their respective clubs

Hey, common guys... kudos to our boys, the Germans are European champions against African Champions... it was all the coach and technical crews faults to me... Garba Manu should have allowed. Iheanacho to join Steven Keshi instead of keeping a superstar like that on the bench..... he just killed his own career as a coach

shocked shocked WHAT DID KELECHI DO TO THIS COACH.... THE SAME THING WITH KESHI ON THE ISSUES WITH VICTOR MOSES
shocked shocked I DONT JUST UNDERSTAND.... IS IT TRIBALISM OR WHAT?
shocked shocked GERMANY WAS GOOD BUT WE HAD A GOOD DEFENCE AND A CARELESS KEEPER.... WHY PACKING THE BUS IN THE FIRST HALF WHEN
shocked shocked THEY COULD PLAY SUCH AGGRESSIVE GAME IN THE SECOND
shocked shocked I JUST TIRE FOR NIGERIAN TECHNICAL CREWWWW THEY ALL NEED SCHOOLING ABROAD OR LEAVE OUR TEAM FOR INTERNATIONALS.
shocked shocked THIS IS THE TEAM TO BRING THE CUP FOR US BUT OUR NIGERIAN COACHES HAVE NOT BEING IMPRESSIVE INTERNATIONALLY EXCEPT shocked shocked FOR THE U17 THAT USUALLY PLAYS WITH RAW TALENT INDEPENDENTLY.
shocked shocked WE DIDN´T DESERVE TO LOOSE

AWONIYI NEED TO GO WORK ON HIS FITNESS..... HE IS TOO EASILY PUSHED ASIDE AND RELUCTANT ON HIS RECEIVING END
WELL.... LET ME JUST HOPE FOR THE BEST WITH OUR GIRLS.

Great insight, if it is tribal intended. Sincerely, this coach Garba is great loser. NFA need to investigate this tournament.

Yes, but at the end of the day it is still a developmental tournament. All the U-17 trophies we have won as not done anything for us. Let us win the senior FIFA world cup and be a dominant force in world fotball, then we can talk. I have seen some promising players here who have the potential to replace the bunch of Super Eagles we have. I'm satisfied. You can choose to cry and lament and groan in agony if you like. Good luck with that.
Well you do seems to know better than everyone else. Sorry to burst your bubble but I have no apetite for failure.

Of what use are their potentials if they don't show it?

Please feel free to play the ostrich. You enjoy disappointments? Good luck with that.

If not for our defense that is above average, we would have lost by a wider goal margin. The Germans have more possession, shots, corner kicks and a robust midfield. They deserve to win and I see them wining the competition.

Moses is a celebrated Prolific goal scorer celebrated all over Europe. Keshi needed this guy for Afcon Qualifier, and yet he didn't play 1 single game.

If you were not going to use him, why didn't he let Stephen Keshi have him? I think the coach had a certain players in his mind to showcase in this game because we didn't play with our best players.

NFF should look into this issue with urgency else, I don't think we will go place with this mentality of playing certain players to please certain IDIOTS.........
