Pls is Manu Garba drunk or silly Honestly I think all Nigeria coach are truly a craps same pattern Keshi, Siasia the worst Amodu so silly coaches that don't know when their team is loosing and what is the best to do its a shame.

Garba should be sack this outing in world cup is too poor very ugly indeed. Moreso as usual since May 29 Nigeria sport is dead and gone the more disappointment on the way the man of change has a very harsh and bad luck of changing good giant sporting nature to a dwarf and non existing sporting nation go back to history and balance the equation. The day of sport woe is born in Nigeria on May 29 so pathetic indeed.

That was a tactical defending but awoniyi should have makeup by passing to isaac.
the team lacked confidence and there was no iota of urgency in their play . should i say they were overwhelmed by the occassion?
no shot on target for 90mins . . .annoying

Word! As far as I'm concerned, we have the players. The volume of the technical ability of our coaches is wayyyy down!

That really is it. The coach lost the game for us. And it is one of two things: EGO or FEAR.

Manu Garba either felt he had to show Iheanacho who the boss is, which is not entirely bad, but requires wisdom, or he was afraid after the loss to Brazil and decided to stick with the boys he has had with him since AYC.

EGO: Even if you were trying to discipline Iheanacho, Yahaya and Moses or you felt they hadn't blended in, there comes a time when you must know that your message is passed and the punishment should end. The boy has sat on the bench for almost two games. Call him and read the riot act. Put him on the field and tell him to perform and play for the team. Swallow your ego, especially for personal pride for national interest.

FEAR: If it's not that, then maybe the fear factor set in. Manu may have told himself, the boys from Europe are made and no longer hungry for success. Let me use those I've been with for close to two years now who are still looking for European contracts. They will be hungrier. It worked for him at U-17 and he may have decided to stick with it.

But beyond that, U-17 and U-20 are not the same o! A lot of U-20 players in Europe already have professional contracts and play in top leagues. Even those who have not broken into their main teams play regularly in reserve leagues or lower divisions. The competition is tougher.

No comment, i don't even know what to say now. I wonder the excuse the Coach is going to come up with. undecided undecided
he has no excuse other than apologises. Germany dominated the game. He had his tactics wrong. Didnt make the right substitutions. Anyway, i dont think he should be sacked tho

That dude should not probe for tribalism

He should if situations warrant it. Do you know want his cluelessness and wicked heart has cost. This is one of the best team Nigeria ever have and we lost the opportunity. Do you know what it takes for the German machine to score an early lone goal base on their past performance in this tournament. We deserve victory for this match but the tactics and plan of our crew flopped it all.

While a Yahaya and Nwakali are on the bench, why can't one of Sokari or Bulbwa weh just dey fall like mango tree sit down for Iheanacho, he thinks Germany is same with Korea and Hungary. Hediot, dem don even score us sef.

The sad fact is that Iheanacho, yahaya and all the best boys from the U17 side went abroad with the wrong focus. They were more interested in signing for big sides than continuing their development by playing week in/week out.
They proved in the first game that they are not match fit. What is more, it is now doubtful if they can break into their club first 11s. If you cant bench Taiwo Awoniyi is it Aguero you will bench?

Their parents were practically begged by soccer analysts all over nigeria to settle for small sides where they can get game time and grow, but they rushed to Spurs and man City were even the likes of Dzeko and Adebayo are warming the bench. I wish them luck, but sincerely i am not hopeful.

senseless post... nacho has been hailed as the future of mancity... they hold him in high regard, go to city fans forum and see for urself... what did u expect before, for him to bench aguero at 18yrs?. u talk bollocks... instead of you to condemn the fool garba, u are dissing nacho... what do u even know about his progress at city? rubbish.
