The LGAs are constitutionally responsible for clearing the gutters and have been PAID to recruit people to do the job.

What happens is that some people from the SW look up and see tall buildings in Lagos. They look at other places outside SE regregionsion. They see little of no tall buildings. Then they conclude that SW people are marvellous, most sophisticated and most enlightened. But they would not see that much of southwest is hugely underdeveloped, many areas in the late 19 th century level.

what do this people want the government to do when they are so dirty as a community.
It is not a curse, flood will kill their children one day, there will be outbreak of disease and many more
unless they take the bull by the horn and take the first necessary action before government come to their aid
We are the government, we are the people, help yourself first.

The responsibility of cleanliness lies in our hands. The waste should be disposed in the right place or probably burn it. No one should blame Ambode or Fashola for this.

it is the duty of Ambode n fashola to provide very effective refuse disposal system in their state. Once its in place, People will use it.

Ajegunle,Makoko,Oshodi and the famous brown roofs of Ibadan -that's the real pride of Yorubaland.

The tall buildings of Lagos are owned by outsiders.

That is what you get when some stubborn citizen insist on building or erecting a shop on the drainage system and some using the drainage as dumping. I think Government is not to be blame for this, the community should look out for stubborn goat among them.
