Gurus in the house come to my aid o. After lightening from thunder affected some of my gadgets weeks back, I discovered that my Amos 5 stopped working. It has not shown signal since then. I recently tried to track it again after changing the disec as advised by an installer. Till now no show. Bad signal. Kindly update me with the accurate tracking TP for Amos 5 ku band. Thanks. you only changed diseqc switch that means you are 100% sure ..the lnb is still working..observe your receiver signal strength it will identify dead lnb .. grin

Try this chinco receiverpower sky hd, i bought it at d price of 6500 in yola, and the best part of it is that u need to press a button to get to the biss key area

The decoder is ok. The lnb is also ok but where I thinks d problem may be coming from is the way r tracking or d input frequency $ symbol rate r not correct ( what do want to track)

That's to you, note that Qsat Q28g is not power vu compliant, but open box combo has this
feature with their latest software.

I bought the smartcard 2500,I wanted Channels and Waptv to open,but all d other Mbc channels are open for d first 2months,after that,I can pay 1k for it if I want!

I asked this question simply because someone told me on an online forum that with this Conical Scalar Ring and Supermax or Pauxis Cband LNB on a 90cm dish, i can get IRIB Tv3 clear and stable anywhere. How true is this? And i also want to ask, whats the difference btwn Offset and Prime focus dish?
