When you invite someone (whether a man or woman) to dinner, you (the inviter) are expected to pay the bill! You don't tell the invitee to pay!

If the invitee offers and insist to pay then you let him or her. You don't force someone you invited to pay! He doesn't owe you and he wasn't the one who invited you to dinner! She doesn't know if the guy has money or not!

Next time when you're hungry don't try to trick anyone into paying for your food! Beg the person upfront that you're hungry and needs food. Then it is left for the person to either help you or not.
