Its simple,if ur decoder accepts mytv card,just buy d smart card and pair it,most of d stations locked on Amos would open!

I asked this question simply because someone told me on an online forum that with this Conical Scalar Ring and Supermax or Pauxis Cband LNB on a 90cm dish, i can get IRIB Tv3 clear and stable anywhere. How true is this? And i also want to ask, whats the difference btwn Offset and Prime focus dish?

"the shallow the dish more the gain"offset satellite dish/antenna is more shallower than the prime focus dish/antenna" thereby having more gain than prime focus..
secondly on prime focus dish the feed is placed at centre of the antenna where the feed and lnb arm blocks the incoming signal...unlike offset dish where the lnb arm and feed is at offset position causing no blockage to satellite signal...is possible receiving irib with 90cm dish..satellite owner claims 100cm-110cm at coverage zone..

Now I know the Value of my 4940HD decoder,finally gotten d smart card,all d MBC channels,my favourite Channelstv,NTA,Silverbird,AIT,FoxSports and Waptv are now open for free,even without subscription!

The Channels am seeing here is worth 1k a month,8 Mbc channels excluding other channels.I bought my 4940HD for 14k last year,was angry since thinking it was a waste because it doesn't accept bis keys but I now knw why its is more expensive than other decoders!

I noticed that my diseqc misbehaves. Ch1 wasn't working, but when I removed Ch4 it began to work. If I replace it, it stops working. Pls who can explain a way out? Thanks for replying.

thats also my diseqc do .... if i use no 4 most of the channels signal will drop to red....infact i keep on setting my dish everyday thinking its my dish that shake....untill last month when i remove no 4 and i notice that the freequency that is red just moved up to 81...82...thats why i went to market to buy another one....and its working perfecty.

i finally nail champion tv today...but very funny, after watching for 2 hours....its scramble....but my favourite mbc2 is still dancing.

From my experience with diseq switch (hope it helps); try to protect it from rain, so u may wrap wif cellotape or other water-resistant material. Or beta still, place d diseq switch wia rain cannot reach (lyk under ceiling).
Finally, try n have at least one extra diseq switch in case of 'may day' cos most of d diseq switches in d market r FAKE that doesn't last.

It's not in my nature to do this but i can't die in silence. I am appealing and pleading for your help to assist me. I need a decoder to keep me busy away from too much thought and anxiety. For 3months now i have no decoder because the one i was using was fried during OTA download due to power interuption. I tried all i could to revive but all to na avail because it was a fake box. I even posted here seeking for assistance but no helpful response.
I planned to buy another one and i have even negotiated with Bro. Blexxonmak on phone to buy one of his Digisat HD decoder but i cant do that now cos my Landlady has told me to quit from her house saying that they want to use the house and thats the challenge am facing right now. Ever since i lost my job in 2013, i tried my best and have been paying the rent just that it wasn't as constant as it use to be when i was working. Presently, i am just owing last month plus this month we are now and i pay every three months. I wanted to pay her now but she refused saying that i should pack out that her family wants to use the house in addition to other personal issues. Worry and anxiety are all over my mind bringing negative thoughts.
I need somrthing to calm my nerves and keep me busy so that my head can be cool and focussed to find a solution. Please dont be offended by this post. Anyone with a kind heart should please come to my aid.

Amen. Thank u my broda. I need all your prayers for God to provide me with a way out of this predicament. I have to relocate but i dont have enough to secure another apartment and also i need a decoder even if it a bad one that i can repair myself. Am an electronics technician by d grace of God.
