That will look suspicious without any explanation and source of that money.

Oh ok, what if this is a loan 4rm where I work. Is it safe to say ts a loan. It's even written beside t in d statement column as credit granted....

Thanks Bro,

pls verify if the below could help

am staying for six days... visiting a cousin for graduation

I am a business owner without any specific income with big cash lodgement's at irregular intervals

i specified my total budget for the trip to be 1750 pounds = 550,00 naira total amount in account aprx 1million

flight n train = 295k

hotel =185k

feeding = 70k 292pounds

does the above reflect a positive presentation for the EO for just a six days trip?

anticipating your response brothers

@justwise

@gaskinachi

thanks in advance

£292 in 6 days eating alone is on the high side even if you are attending eating competition.

Is that actual flight and train cost or estimate?

You can't take a loan to go on a leisure trip

No I'm not taking a loan to go on a trip. It was just an inflow in my account in April. I do have other monies in that same account that I'm using for the trip. In fact I will still have excess money witout touching the loan. It's just dt the inflow came in within d period and like u said t will look suspicious on the statement if I don't explain the source.

Ladies and gentlemen,

This is to inform you that despite all initial anxiety and fretting, we got our 2 years visa. Myself, wife and my 2 children.

A big thanks to you all.

However, another issue came up o grin grin. While awaiting the decision of d embassy......another child came ooooo. so how do we process for the young man who is a few weeks old? Since we got 2 years can we process same for him too?

Thanks

I get that however, you still need to explain clearly how that money come about and that you will not be using it for the trip.

Try and avoid making a budget for the trip that will eat deeply into your actual fund.

Your baby is far too young to travel at the moment, I don't think applying for visa is a good idea.

Congratulation!

am going for my cousins graduation ceremony, hes inviting me over and am to bear all expenses by my self.

The EO would be curious to know why you are spending this much to attend a graduation ceremony of a person who is not your family member (brother, sister, son, daughter, father, mother, civil partner, etc). In the online form a cousin is not considered as a family member. I would suggest that you look for another reason to visit, eg vacation where you can justified such a huge personal expensive. You will need to demostrate strong home tie to the EO if you still insist on applying.

No avoid doing that because it will not represent accurate situation. You can get actual ticket cost online, that will help you come up with more factual figure for the trip.

Since your sister is taking care of accommodation the only major cost coming from you will be ticket.

You also need to outline places you want to visit while in th UK with your family

Trust me you can get all that information online and use it for your budget. Your cousin can tell you how much he pays for train, feeding and you can get ticket cost from airlines

Nne,
I'm sorry but I need to say this.
Do you actually want to travel or you just want a visa?
Did you even check the price for tickets to the uk. 350k for three people in this decade?

Do ur research people...be realistic
Getting a visa is one thing, crossing UKBA is another.

Ok thank u. I've checked the cheapest ticket for the 3 of us is 352k airfrance, 1160pounds. And maybe spend 400k there, about 1300pounds. Making a budget of about 2460pounds. 752k.
Does this make financial sense, I have about 500k in savings and my husband about 800k, also a small savings for our baby of abt 250k. That is minus the loan I talked about.

As a family trip is not bad but you really need to explain this in your application form as you have done here

But ticket cost more that.

Using that agent for your ticket cost is not a good idea. Use the actual airline website.

Good luck

18 months is a very long time to stay on a tourist visa unless your daddy is Lamido Sanusi cheesy
They may suspect that you were working so prepare for stiff questions.
Whatever happens DO NOT LIE! That leads to long ban.

Please, do I really need to book this appointment date to submit my application? The available date is too far and I want to send it and start the process. It's a 2yr visitor visa i'm applying for.

Ok but staying 18months on one visit alone may harm your next visa application if you don't come up with valid reason why you stayed that long.

Yes its 2yrs visa but nobody stays 18months on one visit alone even when you have a job in Nigeria.

Hi Justwise, can my sister in a Nigerian Uni take two weeks off Uni and attend my grad in the UK or must the school be on vacation for them to grant her a visa.

Do not think your chances are too good. You need to explain your long stay last time.
They will know that you want to enter to work illegally from your records.
